Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NorwayThere were no safe in the room for storing valuables. Also wish there were a wastebin/garbage bin in the bedroom. Breakfast was good although not abundant with vegetables.

GreeceThere was an annoying smell in the room despite the fact that it was very clean. Also the breakfast was really basic, for example there were only scrambled eggs, whereas there could also be a boiled or a fried option. I would also like some option for children in the TV, like Netflix or disney.
The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and with enough space to feel comfortable. The location is also great, just a few steps far from Teatro Colon.

ItalyThere were some issues with the payment and I informed the staff we would arrive at 5pm to pay in person. They told us "Les comento que solamente nos quedan 2 habitaciones para la venta, en caso de que se vendan antes de las 15 hs, vamos a necesitar el pago de su habitacion. De todos modos aguardaremos. Les estaremos avisando" We had been at the same hotel 2 weeks before so they should have known we were to be trusted. Anyway, we arrived at 5 and luckily they didn't sell the room. Furthermore, the door lock on the first night didn't work properly and someone opened our door by mistake.

Hong KongThey should state clearly about the payment method in their description. My credit card was fully charged the day before I check in. When I checked in, they requested to charge again saying the previous payment is required as deposit. They’ll return after I check out. Of course I still haven’t received. Also, the reception asked for the city tax. I stayed in another motel in BA before and no such request. I understand there’s a tax charge to foreigners. But why not included in the bill when I check in?
