How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There were no safe in the room for storing valuables. Also wish there were a wastebin/garbage bin in the bedroom. Breakfast was good although not abundant with vegetables.
Very friendly and professional multilingual staff, excellent location. It's a great hotel and place to stay in central CABA.

The hotel is not the best quality. Soap dispenser and toilet roll holder falling off the walls. Had to move rooms due to shower not draining and over flowing. Breakfast isn’t the best.
Location comfy bed and big tv air con also great. Night time staff really friendly and helpful.

The bedroom was small, as was the sink (did not have space to leave objects). The elevator was too old By seeing the pictures and comments showed in Booking, we were disappointed when we entered our rooms, they looked smaller and not so modern as shown in the pictures
Location was good, good neighborhood close to the subway. Employees were very helpful

There was an annoying smell in the room despite the fact that it was very clean. Also the breakfast was really basic, for example there were only scrambled eggs, whereas there could also be a boiled or a fried option. I would also like some option for children in the TV, like Netflix or disney.
The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and with enough space to feel comfortable. The location is also great, just a few steps far from Teatro Colon.

There were some issues with the payment and I informed the staff we would arrive at 5pm to pay in person. They told us "Les comento que solamente nos quedan 2 habitaciones para la venta, en caso de que se vendan antes de las 15 hs, vamos a necesitar el pago de su habitacion. De todos modos aguardaremos. Les estaremos avisando" We had been at the same hotel 2 weeks before so they should have known we were to be trusted. Anyway, we arrived at 5 and luckily they didn't sell the room. Furthermore, the door lock on the first night didn't work properly and someone opened our door by mistake.

3 beds in one room was too cramped - there was a closet with drawers which we could not access to store clothes as the 3rd bed was up against it and we couldn't get the door open

We had a small windows and the AC was just next to it, hence we couldn't really open the window.

No hot water on arrival as was Christmas Day nothing was fixed until late in the afternoon in the 26th.

They should state clearly about the payment method in their description. My credit card was fully charged the day before I check in. When I checked in, they requested to charge again saying the previous payment is required as deposit. They’ll return after I check out. Of course I still haven’t received. Also, the reception asked for the city tax. I stayed in another motel in BA before and no such request. I understand there’s a tax charge to foreigners. But why not included in the bill when I check in?

Had difficulty with reentering room as problem with lock. Not easy to lock when you left as used to stick.
