The best hotel for me in terms of location surrounded with forest. I prefer going there although it needs investment to improve the accomodations and the swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and supportive. I adore the silence and peace I feel in Alva.

The location of this hotel perfect very close walking distance to Ropeway, the entire hotel is surrounded lush green trees which soo relaxing and even in summer the temp goes down to 6 degrees. they very good breakfast and indoor swimming pool n even billiards. Had a very relaxing stay.

I suggest improving the facilities like the gym and the swimming pool to attract visitors and since the facilities are already there then why not be in a good status.

This is our second visit and all went ok , the location is brilliant, the staff are kind , we didn't use any of the facilities in both visits as those seemed to be closed , but that was not an issue for us.

The property was in a cozy location. Room was cleaned every day. Water was replenished everyday. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Ropeway at a walkable distance. Good food for breakfast and dinner.

The bed was very squeaky/noisy, but not bit, big time.

Great pool, kids loved it, temperature hot even during winter, all floor heating great. Radiators are very hot, so all your wet clothing from skiing dry in few hours - very good. Great restaurant in the property. Very close to ski resort, they have small path to the resort, if enough snow, you can even ski down there through this route.

The pool temperature is too cold for relaxing, jacuzzi should be much warmer, breakfast at 9:30 too late if you want to start skiing early

We had an amazing stay at Alva Hotel and Spa. The cottage-style accommodation was perfect for our family of six, offering two connected rooms with all the essentials to make it cozy and comfortable. The heating worked perfectly, hot water was always available, and the breathtaking forest views made it truly special. Its location, just 300 meters from the rope line, was an added bonus. Despite the rustic charm of the cottage, it was well-equipped and far exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional—everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. It felt even better than staying in a five-star hotel. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The beds were very small - restaurant services are only up to 9pm. Rest is good - breakfast is very limited and same repeated menu

Had a great time - The location was awesome - Top of the mountain next to the Rope way. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful area for parking. Next to the snow area - really beautiful

Very clean and comfy. Breakfast is very good. Lisa from reception and kitchen staff were very helpful and accommodating. Indoor pool and jacuzzi were a huge plus in our rainy weekend stay. Fireplace in the evening is mesmerizing ( just keep enough wood ;)

Water in the Pool was too cold and the jacuzzi wasn’t functioning.

The location and the surroundings of the hotel was perfectly fine both for summer and winter holidays due to closeness to ropeway ( 5-10 min walk) Breakfast was good.
