Best location, 100m from beach, lovely owner, who was always there to help, big spacious room, great value for money. Everything available in close proximity. Bit outdated design, but clean, and has the essentials. It is not a fake luxury hotel, it is a simple place with a real heart.I can just recommend.

The hotel is modern, clean, convenient location. You feel safe to leave valuables when going to the beach. A kettle and necessary furniture is provided. Very convenient mattress, pillows. Hot water is always available because they have a boiler in each room. Good wifi. Restaurants or supermarkets are super close. It’s a good point for walking in the evening. They have own beach which is 5min away by walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can arrive in the middle of the night, they will meet you. I recommend to have at least one dinner in the Zanzi restaurant nearby! Very tasty and elegant cooking. The Fish House is nearby for fresh seafood lovers (they also speak Ukrainian here). We really liked our stay at Hotel Villa Emes. It’s super close to the beach, just a minute away, and getting around was easy since the bus and taxi stations are nearby. There are also tons of restaurants around, so we never had trouble finding a place to eat. The best part was the owner really friendly and always happy to help. It made the whole experience feel a lot more welcoming. For the price we paid, it was totally worth it. A great option if you’re looking for a simple and affordable place near the beach!

The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the beach and lots of lovely restaurants and cafes! The room was everything you would want. The best part about the hotel is Shaban, the owner. He was beyond welcoming and friendly to us throughout our whole stay, we will definitely stay in Hotel Vila Emes again!

The property was clean, the host was attentive and helpful, the whole experience was very pleasant. Close to the beach and also to stores and restaurants. There was an elevator and also bathroom in the lobby and also a small room to leave all your beach stuff.

The location is easy to find on google maps but the entrance is from the side of the building so you have to look better because there is a coffe (pastry) shop downstairs which is good for morning coffee😉

The accommodation is excellent, in a perfect location, just about 50 meters from the beach. The host is friendly, the room is clean, everything was perfect.

Very helpful, hospitable, kind and friendly host! He gave very clear instructions on how to get to the hotel in the best and most convenient way (indicating both the option with a taxi and the costs for it, and using the public city bus). Hence, the arrival went without a hitch. The room was clean and comfortable. Finally, it was the first hotel where the air conditioner stood on the floor and therefore did not blow directly on top! It was very important to us. The view from the balcony was fantastic - directly to the sea. There was also a refrigerator in the room, which is a huge bonus on such hot days - we could cool drinking water and store fruit. The road to the sea takes less than 3 minutes. Upon returning from the beach, the owner offered to wash off the sand from the feet and leave the children's inflatable ring in the special room. This is convenient, because the inflated ring did not float in the elevator and was also wet and a little covered with sand. Therefore, the room remained clean. When checking out, the host treated the children with cakes and candies, and my husband and I with coffee and water. Especially pleasant was a treat from his personal garden - a special citrus fruit that is added to the water. Impressions about this accommodation and its owners are the best! I definitely recommend staying here!

The villa was clean upon arrival, and the staff was initially welcoming and friendly. We requested to add an extra person to our room, which was not planned in advance. When I inquired at the reception, they confirmed it was possible for an additional cost of 5 euros. However, about an hour later, we received a message stating that an extra person was not allowed in the room. They offered us another apartment for 50 euros instead, which felt like a sales tactic rather than a genuine service. This approach was neither ethical nor professional and left a negative impression. Additionally, the rooms lacked heavy curtains or blinds, so the strong morning sunlight woke us up around 6 AM. We had left some purchased food in the kitchen, which we found to be full of ants, suggesting that the kitchen area is either very old or in need of proper disinfection.

We appreciate the hospitality of the owners with a personal touch. They went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our room with a balcony was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable. There is a short walk to both private and public beaches. There are numerous restaurants, shops and supermarkets within walking distance. Parking is available as well. Public transportation is a nearby. Overall hotel and the surrounding areas are walkable and feel very safe any time of the day. We would definitely return for our next trip, and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Durres.
