Vila Cikaj is a great place that offers everything you need for a stay in Durres. Close to the beach as well as the city center. There are restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores in the area. The Check-In process was very smooth and easy. I enjoyed my stay in Vila Cikaj and would consider staying there next time I visit Albania.

The owner was helpful, the cats were friendly and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotless clean! The location is convenient: 10 minutes or less to the beach, about one hour to Durres centre (amphitheatre and other sights). Lots of cafés, bakeries and a supermarket nearby. The check in-and-out went smooth - the host waited for us when we arrived late and arranged a taxi back to the airport when we were leaving.

There is nothing that I didn’t like about property.

This is our second stay at Vila Cikaj. We enjoy property on its own, peaceful, quiet, nice garden, security is taken seriously, suburban, yet just 5 minutes walk from beach, shops, restaurants, hotel, 10 kilometres of lovely promenade walk. Host and ladies are excellent, kind, like a family. When I was under the weather lady brought me a remedy. I really appreciate it.

Only lack of shower cubicle is a bit of a nuisance.

It's a big villa in a quiet residential area, close to the beach and cafes/ restaurants plus the city bus connecting both bus station. Well-equipped big room. There's a common kitchen ( actually 2 units). Nice sitting area outside. It's an older building, but everything is clean and it's good value for money. Very helpful staff. The owner speaks very good English, is available all the time on WhatsApp and willing to help you.

We had a wonderful stay in Durres at this fantastic accommodation. The room was well-appointed with all the essentials, including a fridge, TV, and air conditioning, which made our stay very comfortable. The shared kitchen was a great addition and allowed us to prepare some of our own meals. The yard was a perfect play area for our daughter, and we were pleased to have convenient parking right in front of the villa. The location was ideal, being very close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the seaside. The only minor issue was that the pillows were a bit too tall for our taste, but this is a personal preference and didn't detract from our overall experience. We highly recommend this place for a family-friendly and convenient stay in Durres.

Nothing bad to say really - it was great!

This was a perfect accomodation for a short 1-night stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful upon arrival, telling us everything we needed about the apartment, giving us local restaurant recommendations, and chatting to us about Albania and the UK. The beds were comfortable, WiFi was good, and everything was clean - there was also a kitchen area which we didn't use but it looked very helpful. We enjoyed relaxing in the patio area. Overall, a very friendly and good value for money accommodation central to Durres, would highly recommend!

The shower curtain is missing in the shower, causing water to splash all over the bathroom, including the sink, toilet and floor.

We spent one night at Villa Cikaj towards the end of our holiday due to its proximity to Tirana Airport. It’s a simple accommodation, but it comes with a lovely backyard garden that adds charm to the overall experience. One of the main advantages of this place is its closeness to the city beach, which is brimming with life. The beach can get quite busy, but it has a nice promenade for strolls and plenty of restaurants where you can savour the local cuisine. On the whole, I would recommend Villa Cikaj for short-term stays or for those looking for accommodation near the airport.

The facilities are a bit outdated, especially bathroom. As in many places in Albania, there was a showerlet in our room, meaning you can pee and shower at the same time :) but for the price, can’t complain much.

Very close to the beach, about 3-5 minutes. Safe and comfortable location. The host (speaks very good English, which is seldom in Albania) has recommended very good restaurants around, all in a walking distance.

There was nothing dislikable, but the Vila has a shared kitchen and there were a couple times where there was used cutlery for some time (which is obviously not the fault of the owner). Furthermore, we would suggest getting shower mats as it was very slippery.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was convenient with markets, beaches and restaurants nearby! Would definitely stay here again!
