The location, the view and the host are exceptional. You have to consider that the phone and internet signal is quite limited in the area. The only connection we had was the wifi from the host (also a big +). Consider to take cash with you. Most of the transactions are done only with cash.

We had a truly amazing and wonderful stay with Turi and Meli in Albania! From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and kindness that made us feel completely at home. The place offered a peaceful atmosphere with a stunning views all around, a must for nature and mountain addicts. Meli and Turi went above and beyond to make our stay special. They helped us plan and choose unforgettable short and long hikes. All from their wonderful guesthouse and to the surrounding nature. A special experience was the hidden most beautiful pit, just a 10min walk up the valley nearby, and also a 14 hundred meters climb to the pick of mount Golishit. Our stay with them was unique, full of flavor, and made with love and endless care. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for mountains experience in Albania. It’s remote, less touristic and worth in every way. Thank you again, Turi and Meli, for your amazing hospitality!

I do not know what to start, because it’s perfect with everything, just like a paradise on earth. To start with, the property is situated in the stunning Albanian Alps, if you open the curtain, everything is like an oil painting. Then the rooms are spacious, modern, clean and beautiful. What’s more is that you’ll always be served with home made meal that you cannot manage to finish no matter what, with the freshest ingredients coming directly out of the field. Most importantly, the hosts are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They’re so welcoming and friendly, and they are always up for a chat. In addition they kept serving me with tasty free fruits and vegetables that came out of the field. Overall this is the best holiday I’ve had, and mind you I am a keen hiker that enjoys my holiday in the Scottish highlands, yet this trumps everything I’ve ever experienced in my life!

Very friendly and helpful owners, spotless clean rooms, wifi internet connection, absolutely lovely locally sourced and home cooked food and stunning views from the porch. Great place, great accomodarion, comfortable, clean, spacious room and stunning view! Me, my husband and our 5 y. o. daughter spent 3 nights in this magical place but wished we could stay for a month! So relaxed, so peaceful and such beautiful nature! Meli was so nice and so welcoming with our kid. And the food... local products and delicious homemade meals. It was really a pleasure staying there and experience I would never forget! I hope life will give me an opportunity to visit again! Tahnk you, Meli and Turi for everything!

Meli and turi were awesome, super friendly and their hospitality was second to none. the food was incredible! the property has incredible views and the room was lovely, so much better than we anticipated. mila the kitten is the absolute best Albanian cat ever. we're sad we could only stay 2 nights.

The most amazing stay in Albania. We felt so good during our visit. Surrounded by mountains and calmness. We received such a nice hospitality from hosts. Room was very nice and clean. We had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner was just perfect. We would love to come back for sure. Plus we already miss little cat Mila 🐈‍⬛:)

Quiet place, surrounded by mountains. Enough place for parking the car. Simple but cosy room, comfortable bathroom. Hospitable hosts. We felt like at home. Thank you, Turi and Meli! Meli prepares great hot breakfast and great hot dinner, the best in all Albania! I definitely reccommend to stay here when visiting Albania mountains. It's a great place to admire the steep mountains near the Cemi river and to hike to the mountains. We had a great 6 hour hike to Maja e Popadijes (2057m) bordering Montenegro from Lepushe, and 3,5 hour hike to high waterfall Ujevara e Selces from Selce.

I don't know what to write more than what is written here in the other reviews. Booking does not have such a good rating as they deserve. I have never met such willingness anywhere. This place is amazing whether you are a tourist or just stopping by. A perfect start point for your hikes in the area. Beautiful views from the accommodation, great breakfast. Beautiful, clean, everything you could want for a stay in the beautiful scenery of northern Albania. Felt so at home, amazing views, amazing hosts, great rooms, great food! All positive! Turi and Meli were incredible hosts! So kind and keen to share activities in the area, made amazing food, and have made an absolutely beautiful place for travellers to put up their feet and take it all in, with no worries!

Turi and Meli are very sweet and they give a wonderful hospitality with their beautiful smiles and warmth and kindness and amazing food. They want to make the guests feel happy there in every way. The rooms are beautiful and specious and the view is wonderful. It's a beautiful area in the mountains. I'm really happy I went and hiked to the waterfall as Meli recommended and with a lovely couple I met there. We enjoyed the hike so much. It was challenging but good and the waterfall on top is magical and the pools down are paradise. And there were almost no other tourists there, so we enjoyed this peaceful place even more. So thank you very much for everything and I hope I can come back again one day 🙂🌹

We recently stayed at Turi Selce Guest House and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. Upon arrival, Meli and Turi greeted us with warm smiles and presented us with our rooms, which were far beyond our expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered breathtaking views of the mountains. Meli and Turi's attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our party felt special and well-cared for. The meals were a highlight of our visit, with delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that everyone loved. A special thank you to Meli and Turi for arranging seating under the shade of a tree for us to escape the heat wave. This thoughtful touch made our gatherings even more enjoyable. My children adored their time with the animals, especially their beloved black kitty, whom they affectionately nicknamed "Midnight." We are also deeply grateful for the care they provided to my parents, ensuring they were well-fed when we were not around. The level of service and hospitality we experienced is rare and truly commendable. The entire area of Selce is a hidden gem, and we are so happy we chose to spend our vacation here. Thank you, Meli and Turi, for making our stay unforgettable. We can't stop thinking of you guys !
