The owner sends you a code to open the outer door (street) but is never there, so when you come you will need to contact her specifically so she comes, tells you which room you are in, gives you the key and charges you. The room stated clearly that offered one single bed forntwo people, but as some other places do, it's a lie, there are two separarte beds, and not the most comfortable beds. In general, the place was old and not very taken care of and some things (not important) were broken. One more thing: She stated that for 3 euros we could leave our luggage there for a few days, in a room locked with a key. I insisted, but when we came back, the luggage was still kept unattended, for everyone to see, not in a separate room, not locked, so we took it no problem, as anybody could have.

The owner was eager to attend us every morning for breakfast and any other services.

First, PEOPLE OF THE WORLD, PLEASE STOP SLAMMING DOORS! JUST TURN THE HANDLE AND GENTLY PULL IT CLOSED! Second, upon arrival at 9pm after a 4.5-hour bus in traffic from Tirana, hot and tired, nobody was there to show me to my room. Another guest said the same thing happened to him the previous night. So I had to text to get my room number. When I asked why I had to do this, they said they're usually there in person. OK, but wouldn't it be easier for everyone if they just told us the room number in the original info messages? Also, my door handle was broken and fell off multiple times, probably waking guests. They apologized when I mentioned it and said they couldn't fix it yet, but I recommended notifying guests of something like this, so they can know what to expect.

It was very clean. Best value for a private room in Shkodër. I was happy to have free breakfast (although very meager if you don't eat cheese), and it was nice that they book transport to Valbonë for you. I also liked that you can walk from the bus.

Limited breakfast and only allowed one coffee. Had to let myself in and wasn't told which room was mine.

Cheap room and basic facilities. Has potential but not sure they are getting the number of bookings for them to make the effort.

There were dogs kept outside next door which barked in the night. There was a 0415 call to prayer from the local mosque on the Friday I stayed. I am a light sleeper and that might not be an issue for others. ⁹

I was made really welcome despite a long delay on my flight. The room was really clean and bright and the bed was comfortable. The hospitality was excellent. Excellent value for money.

The location is ok but a little bit far from the city center.

The female manager was really very helpful. She is full of life, she arranges for you anything in 2 minutes. My stay was very nice although the shower in my room did not work properly, the day after it was repaired.

It’s basic so if your looking for luxury and lots of facilities this isn’t it but it was perfect for my solo traveller needs

lovely place, great room, the host Nirvana (I think) was excellent. She sorted us out with our bus/boat tickets to Valbone and return bus from Teth. We also had use of the free bicycles to go to the lake, tho in retrospect it might have been better to pay €3 and hire a bike to get a better bike

The rooms were spotless and the b&b are able to arrange transport to Theth for you that picks you up from the hotel. The lady was very kind and made me a fantastic breakfast! It was a 15 minute walk from the centre but I didn't mind that!

Loud from neighboring rooms and we woke up at 5 am when the local mosque called for prayer. Location is a bit far from the town centre.

Although the area is quiet, the interior walls are quite thin and you can easily hear other guests coming in or out of the hotel. I was awoken more than once by guests who came in late or left really early, so if you're a light sleeper, don't forget to bring earplugs.

Shkoder is a busy place, but this B&B is located in a quiet area about a 10 minutes walk from the city center. The owner sent me a message that he wouldn't be around, but gave me instructions on how to enter the property. In the morning a very kind lady came to organize breakfast and prepare scrambled eggs and pancakes for us, which was great. The area has a lovely garden where you can relax. You really get a lot of value for money here.

There was a dog in the garden next door, I think from the neighbours, who was barking incredibly loud the whole morning. This was very disturbing (especially after being chased and attacked by dogs for two weeks on a cycling trip...). The facilities (bathroom mostly) could be a bit modernized, and the breakfast options could be made a bit more interesting.

They were very accomodating with my late arrival and gave me a way to check myself in. The hostess is very friendly. The room was clean and cozy.
