The greatest advantage of this accommodation is without a doubt the host, Medi. I had already read many positive reviews about him on Booking, but honestly, I didn’t expect him to be this incredibly kind. During my travels, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone so helpful, attentive, and friendly. Medi is always ready to advise you and help with anything you need. Another big plus is the very well-designed website of the accommodation, where you can find plenty of tips for cafés, restaurants, and interesting places to visit. We tried several of them ourselves, and all were excellent. The accommodation itself is absolutely fine and met all our expectations. Just like the city of Shkodër pleasantly surprised us, the host impressed us even more with his kindness and care.

Wonderful stay in Mehdi’s apartment. It was incredibly clean and well located, the real standout being Mehdi and all he did to make us feel to cared for and looked after. He was super friendly, his property has a good website with good recommendations, and he was on hand to help us when we needed. Would recommend anyone to stay here, very reasonable price too.

Great location, great host, everything clean and comfortable. Four chilled half a liter water bottles awating for us in a fridge, which was a very appreciated gesture in the hot weather 🙂

You must reserve your parking place in advance as places are very limited. We didn’t know and the area is not particularly parking friendly. We were still lucky with Medi’s support but it’s important that you know it in advance in case you go by car.

Location is perfect. Walking distance to the city centre and still in a very calm neighborhood. Medi, our host, was super attentive and dedicated. And the city has a fantastic vibe. We loved it!

The owner was super friendly and helpful. He greeted us on arrival and gave us lots of suggestions. He lives in the apartment below, and was always happy to help with any questions. The apartment itself was nice and comfortable, and in a good location, with off-street parking. Highly recommend!

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful — honestly, staying here is worth it just to meet him! The place is clean, spacious, and close to the city center. I have no doubt the host will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Next time I’m in Shkodra, I won’t even bother looking for another place. :)

Our stay at Northgate Apart-Villa was absolutely wonderful! Medi was an incredibly welcoming and attentive host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable.  Medi exceeded our expectations in every way, he was a true gem – always friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. A great place to stay in Shkodër. Medi is the best host - very friendly and responsive, before and during our stay. He even told us to message if we had any questions during our stay at other places in Albania. A very nice guy :) The room was nice and very clean, with a very comfy bed. Great location, less than 5mins to the main area with lots of bars ad restaurants. Being able to park our car at the property was very handy too. Thank you, Medi!

Medi was an absolutely lovely host! He was very friendly and helpful and also gave us lots of local recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable and even had a mini fridge which was handy. Very well equipped apartment, clean with new furnishings. Mehdi was super helpful and friendly. He sent links to find the property on my phone and to his own website with recommendations for restaurants, bars, and places to visit. Those we tried were excellent. I cannot imagine a better experience. I only wish we had a longer time to stay.
