One night there was a power outage, but most likely affecting more properties, not necessarily only this hotel. You have to accept the main road is always busy, if somebody is looking for total quiet room, this isn't.

Excellent beach access (100m), excellent and friendly staff, good breakfast and quality of the overall building and rooms.

Only complaints were the rooms that face the main road were very noisy, got woken up in the night so had to swap rooms. Apart from that room was beautiful so I think hotel should put some soundproofing to reduce noise. Other thing was the breakfast, stated had English/Irish selection so was expecting sausages, bacon, beans etc but it was just a continental breakfast with a small selection.

Staff were really lovely, friendly & helpful. Rooms were really nicely decorated & clean, & washing smelled amazing. Brilliant location too near lots of supermarkets, banks, pharmacies & clothes shops. & there were lots of nice restaurants across the road, & more just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Beach was very pretty & clean with nice bars & cafes & had an amazing view for the sunset.

NOTHING! You can’t go wrong with hotel Imperiale!

It was so beautiful inside and out. You can tell they take care of the hotel. All the staff were so welcoming when we were staying there. We had a bad experience at a different hotel (Klebrido) and we were looking to stay elsewhere. We asked to see the room prior to booking and they took us on a tour of 3 separate rooms we could CHOOSE! I love everything from the room, to the balcony, to the staff to the amazing breakfast they serve daily. I will be coming back when I’m in Durrës!!!

It is a little bit far away from the city centre and the room looking to the street, it is noisy because of the heavy traffic.

When you arrive to the hotel or when you are leaving from the hotel, there is no space in front of the hotel where you can unload your laguage. You can do that only on the street where you block other cars or on the dusty parking place behind the hotel. There are few parking places directly on the street but desperately occupied whole time. Breakfast is served from 8-11am but if you come around 10 am almost everything is gone. The ladies who serve the breakfast are very kind and ask you if you would like scrambled eggs or so. The issue is that there are some guests who took a lot of food and don't eat it. It woul be great to add one more lady to serve the breakfast as they do what they can but not manage everything (serving, preparing food and coffee, tidying up, etc). The beach is very crowdy so we drove to the beaches behind Durres (around 30 minutes by car dependent on traffic) and these were very nice and so crowdy. Even there is very small one with fee people. You just need to pay for 2 beds and one umbrella 10 euro.

Hotel is really close to the beach. Grocery store is directly in hotel as well as pharmacy. Everything is very close. Personal is nice, very helpful and friendly. If you want room service, it is not automatic, you need to leave your room key at the reception. Small beaches behind the town (to the West) are beautiful and not crowdy.

Sometimes, the restaurant opposite to the hotel, organises music nights that last from 9:00 to 12:00.

Clean and the staff is very kind and friendly. The distance to the beach is very small.

There was kind of a sewer smell coming from the piping in the bathroom.

All the staff was really nice and helpful, the room was big and bright, we had a balcony, the beds were comfortable, the included breakfast was delicious. There is an elevator, which we took to the last floor, where the breakfast was served, but mostly we took the stairs, as we were staying on the second floor and didn't feel like waiting for the elevator. We were offered sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach (a kind of crowded part of the beach, but we appreciated them nonetheless).

I would recommend to update the location on the google maps, this is not working. The address stated here is not correct, and not every taxi driver knows all hotels by name. We were struggling little bit to find the hotel, but local people are super kind and helped us.

Very nice, spacious room, all necessary amenities, super clean. Everything worked perfectly (water, aircondition), bed was comfortable. Our room was on the street side, but no noise. Breakfast great. Beach is just across the street, we had umbrellas and sunbeds included, just bring your own towels. As the hotel towels are really clean and bright white, please don’t use them at the beach. Hotel staff was extremely nice, kind and helpful, especially young lady Enra, she upgraded our stay with her support and attitude.

Parking was not easy. The door to our balcony did not shut fully, letting in some street noise.

When I searched for this hotel I clicked the filter for Free Parking and Fitness centre, despite there being photos on here and their own website of a fitness centre there isn't one, left us feeling deceived. Free parking is on the busy road at the front of the hotel. We had a room on the street side, 2nd floor we barely slept due to traffic noise and local businessmen and customers shouting to each other. The windows and balcony doors don't stop noise.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Breakfast was nice.

Very noicy and loud music from the hotel opposite every night! The free sunbeds at the beach was not on the best part of the beach.
