How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewNice experience with an Albanian family and their farm animals. The served typical dinner of the region (extra cost 15€ pp) was really tasty as well as the breakfast. You could start to one of the best hiking tracks I've ever been to directly behind the house upwards.
As it is a beautiful surrounding it would be nice to have more sitting options outside - I think they are working on it.

Verified reviewIf you want to get closer to a local life of farmers, running a family farm, working hard but keeping great spirit at the same time, come here. We enjoyed everything-the open hearted approach of each member of this nice family, the food that is produced locally, animals at the farm as well as the views and peace and quiet. The trail to Trojani and other peaks passes the house, so you can start your hike directly from there.
thank you martin

Verified reviewStaying at House Guest Trojani in Lepushe was one of the most memorable travel experiences we've ever had. If you're looking for authenticity, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality, this is the place. This is a family run facility - and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity by the hosts, who made us feel like we were part of their family. The guesthouse itself blends perfectly with its surroundings and has breathtaking views over the peaks of the Accursed Mountains. Waking up to silence broken only by birdsong or the gentle rustling of the forest is a luxury in itself. Furthermore, the house is right at the path to the majestic Trojani Peak. One of the sons in the family also offers guide services to the other surrounding peaks. The rooms were simple but spacious and super clean. The food was homemade and sourced from their own farm or local producers. The rich flavors of their bio products, from fresh cheese, meats, salami to blueberry jam are something you’ll dream about long after your visit. We even tried to buy and take some with us - however, to our chagrin, the hosts gave us some as parting gifts. We had booked only for two nights as part of a longer trip, but definitely thought it worth it to stay longer and will return. Practical tip: don't rely on Google maps as the road to the guesthouse is on gravel and not recognized by Google maps. Get in touch with the host, and they will come and pick you up from the center of the village. This is particularly important if you don't have a truck.

Verified reviewThe Young girl spoke very good English
First of all, the route on Google maps is indicated incorrectly. There is another way, impossible to find without help, in horrible condition. It is impossible to ride this road in a standard car. We were travelling by a rented car in 4 People, a few Times scrached the bottom of the car so finally 2 People decided to walk this approx 2.5 km Road. We booked two rooms, the apartments were cold and the boiler wasn't turned on so we didn't have hot water in any of two bathrooms in the afternoon when we arrived after mountain hiking and wanted to take a shower. The host suggested to use their private bathroom which was very incomfortable! There was only one toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Not too clean. Also, a Young girl invited us for a dinner, it turned out to be 15 € per person. Noone asked us before if we want to have a dinner. We would probably book it anyway but it is not the correct way to do it.

Verified reviewStaying at this guesthouse was truly the best time I’ve ever spent. The place was spotless, and the warm, welcoming family who hosted us made the experience even more special. Meal was homemade by the family, and I can honestly say the food was the best in the world. The room was very clean and cozy. This guesthouse is perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise and stress of everyday life. It’s surrounded by nothing but nature—greenery everywhere, the peaceful sound of birds, and the soft calls of sheep in the distance. I felt like I was living in a dream. Pure peace and quiet. It was everything I needed.
thank you xhuli your welcome ☺

Verified reviewThe family was very welcoming, and very helpful. The guesthouse stay was like spending time with a farming family. There were cows, pigs, sheep, goats, a horse, chickens and more. Most if not all of the food served as breakfast and dinner was home made. The sheep milk cheese was especially nice. The location is beautiful. There are at least three, perhaps more, wonderful day hikes to nearby mountain peaks from the guesthouse.

Verified reviewGood location to do Mt Vajushës hike. Bed was comfy, showers had good pressure and were warm. The young daughter spoke good English and was very helpful. They were also very good at helping me with transport to Lepushe as i didn't have a car and also picking me up from the main rd to the accommodation. Loved all the animals at the property but I'm an animal person! Overall good stay!
My room in particular was very cold and they were unable to put the heating on. The free breakfast could have abit more variety and coffee would be ideal. Suggestion for dinner - A menu for dinner so you know what you're getting, even if it's just written on a piece of paper as i realise it may change frequently due to what is available as it's a remote location. Maybe in the description on booking.com put the price of dinner so people are aware how much it costs before ordering.

Verified reviewThe hosts are so lovely and help with everything! They have a little farm. The food they offer is everything selfmade from their own farm. It lovely to be arrounded by cute dogs, sheep, little pigs and chicken !
It is quite hard to find and the roads are really rough for people that are not sure to such „roads“ but it is manageable and if you have problems they even pick you up and bring you to the accommodation !

Verified reviewThe house was on a beautiful place, ideal starting point for hiking. The meals served there were incredibly delicious, everything homemade and homegrown, amazing. But most importantly, the staff made us feel like we were part of the family, absolutly superior service, friendliness and overall experience. We are definitely coming back!

Verified reviewHost is excellent, very much welcoming, and it works well as a family business. They try their best to satisfy the guests needs and offer their assistance. For sure, will come back soon. There is lots of space and lovely animals playing around.
Unfortunately infrastructure and the road is not so good. The authorities need to intervene and help this amazing village.

Verified reviewIt’s really a beautiful house with lovely people. The treatment is amazing. Must try their home made food.. so amazing. The breakfast is amazing. The place is cozy and beautiful. We recommend asking for pick you up because the last meters are kind of hard to go by car since the road is not in a good state. We would come back 100%.
