Reviews of Guest House Shtëpiza Theth

Our stay at Shtepiza Theth was wonderful. This is a lovely guesthouse in the center of Theth, within minutes walk of the visitor center, restaurants, and the center point for all the hikes. The host opened up her home and has created a welcoming environment for all guests. Our room was comfortable and clean, with reliable Wifi, and windows that allowed for natural light and a little view of the mountains. There is a little patio in the front to enjoy the complimentary home cooked breakfast which we also utilized for an evening nightcap. The host made us feel right at home. If I am back in Theth, this is where I'm staying!

Just a suggestion for more signage leading towards and at the property. We were not 100% sure which house it was but a quick question at the neighbor's led us to the right place.

Super nice location with clean rooms with beautiful interior. The Host was super friendly and we had AMAZING breakfast (made with love and freshly prepared)!

Nothing, everything is we needed for a few days hiking

The guesthouse was located in the middle of Theth in front of the information point. The views we had at the breakfast table were indescribable. The woman doesn’t speak English, but with some basic words you get everything you need. Definitely recommend!

The host is so kind. She doesn't speak any English, but we communicated through smiles and she made the place really feel like a home. The breakfast was phenomenal and homemade. Lots of toilet trees!

As other reviews mentioned, having the coordinates for the location would be helpful. After finishing the long trek from Valbona, we wanted to arrive to the guest house seamlessly, but the location takes you up a hill in the opposite direction. Also, there isn't a fan in the room, and it was 42 degrees during our stay. A fan would be super appreciated, especially in the summer! Overall, a great stay in Theth.

Very accommodating, tastey breakfast

Excellent location in the centre of Theth at the start of the trail to Valbonë. The hosts are very hospitable and speak good English. Breakfast was nice too. Dinner is not provided but there are several restaurants close by

Room was in the ground floor so a little dark and didn’t have a view but good for the price.

Obviously, you get what you see in the pictures; our room wasn't too spacious for 5 people but we knew that in advance. Although the lady didn't speak much English, she's so very kind, we could leave our bags until the afternoon and even gave us ice cold water when we got back :) +the breakfast was really nice

Toilet/shower was a bit small, but as I've stated, they don't hide that, we could clearly see that in the photos as well

Private bath. Toiletries. Breakfast. Parking. Location is convenient and no major uphills or poor road quality like other accommodations in the area. Mosquito nets and proper ventilation. Comfy bedding.

The location is a little hard to find; this could be easily fixed by posting an image of how to get there or some more explicit instructions. If you just follow Google Maps, you will not find the property. Other than that, everything met our needs.

The property is right in the middle of Theth. The host kindly let me do my laundry there even though I only stayed 1 night and the breakfast was really delicious, especially the Albanian pancakes with honey!

The room was clean and we had everything what we needed. The bathroom was typical for that area, the shower and toilet are not seperated but it was drying fast afterwards. Tap water is drinking water. The best think was the amazing breakfast, we loved it and I already miss it :-)
