Everything! A new hotel in great location as we came with ferry from Bari.... the staff speaks good English and were very friendly and kind .... Breakfast was the best we had! Lunch and dinner was available also.... great kitchen! The housekeeping staff was lovely also! Relaxed and friendly atmosphere all around! So far the highlight of our trip!

Once you find it ( it’s in a shopping centre) it is a very modern and clean hotel. Not too large and with good customer service. Breakfast was in fact excellent in terms of choice and plenty of options for everyone. I think a nice addition would be a cozy bar rather than the rather bland bar in the main dining area. The Spa is a lovely bonus and I also had a great massage there.

Our stay at Grand Duka Hotel was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful, even taking our suitcases from the car park to our room. Erno at reception went above and beyond, explaining everything about the hotel in detail and giving excellent tips for exploring the city. The cleaning ladies kept our room spotless every day, always on time. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the secure car park was a big plus that gave me real peace of mind. Highly recommended!

My room was in a corridor off reception. There was a door into the corridor with no automatic closure, which meant that noise from reception and the bar could be heard. Very odd having to go into a shopping centre to find and access the hotel. The sign for the hotel was hidden down the side of the building. One loo roll for the stay. No spares. When I commented, I was horrified to be told I should have asked. Ask for loo roll?! It's meant to be five stars but there's a lot of learning to be done.

Easy parking once I'd found the entrance, which is on a side street. Central location.

Hotel security is not great because you can acces it from the fire escape stairs of the mall. The mall itself isn't updated in fire security measures.

We recently stayed at the Grand Duka Hotel for 2 nights as a group of 16, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-located, but what really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the staff. A special thanks goes to Kristina and Elona, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for our group. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional — assisting us with restaurant reservations, arranging taxis, and always making sure we had what we needed. Their warm and attentive service truly made us feel welcome. We highly recommend the Grand Duka Hotel for anyone visiting the area

I have no negative things to say about the hotel, they were more than willing to help and exceeded my expectations everytime!

Where do I begin? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but the service I was provided at the Grand Duka is honestly the best! This hotel ticks every box! Location-wise wise it is so close to everything! The Beach, Nightlife, Bars, & Restaurants were walking distance away (cabs to and from the hotel and bars were relatively cheap as well). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's modern, minimalistic, with a neutral tone that flows through the property. Rooms are just as impressive, they were so clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great too- so many people asked me where I was staying! The spa & wellness centre was well-kept and very clean! All of the gym equipment worked properly, and they had a variety of machines to choose from. The spa facilities were a great way to relax (I spent a lot of time in there!) The restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast menu had lots of variety to choose from! The dinner options were well-made and delicious! The bar and bar staff were great, providing great customer service & recommending drinks (my favourite was the Aperol Spritz!) The staff are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have come across when staying at a hotel - they greeted us with a smile every day, they made excursion recommendations for us to make the most of our holiday, and they would always ask if there was anything they could do to help! I would like to give a special shout-out to Anisa, the Marketing Manager; she was amazing, such a lovely lady, and super friendly! We were celebrating my Sister's 23rd birthday, she went over and above to help make sure it was special, assisting with getting special decorations, planning the surprise, and the cake! Honestly, Grand Duka was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! If I ever find myself back in Durrës I know exactly where I'll be staying!
