How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The apartment had everything we needed and was really comfortable. We loved spending time on the little balcony with views of the mountains. With 2 bedrooms and bathrooms it would be great for a family too. The supermarket downstairs was being renovated during our stay so Ditmir left us lots of bottled water, which was really thoughtful. There are lots of cafes around (we like Yxha Coffeeshop) and it's only about a 10 minute walk to Rozafa Hotel where buses arrive and leave. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nice location on quite street with minimarket nearby, easy reach of centre and good views of mountains from terrace Apartment is large and very comfy. Diti couldn't have been more helpful and printed off our bus tickets for our return journey

Very comfortable apartment, centrally located, super clean and equipped with all utilities. Diti even left water, coffee and soaps for us, and was available immediately when we had questions. We could walk to the city centre and had supermarket and other shops at a minute walk. Highly recommended!

Our experience at Ditis Apartments was extraordinary. Despite our delay and late arrival, the host patiently waited for us. He gave us a thorough tour, and we were delighted by the apartment's sparkling cleanliness. It had everything one could possibly need. I can't recommend this place enough, and we will definitely rebook when we visit Shkodër again!

Nothing to complain
It was very clean spacious and at right location! Kitchen was fully equipped right below the super market. Owner was really sweet and welcoming! We felt really good ! We couldn’t draw cash and delayed the payment by 2 days still they never disturbed us the entire trip ! They also helped us get free parking spot and suggested us places to visit and best restaurant around. We were very happy with the stay

A bit more expensive than other options in this area
Spacious and cozy apartment, in 10 minutes walking to hotel rozafa (center and main bus spot), has everything for good stay: coffee machine, washing machine and cutlery. Host is very friendly and caring.

We stayed at Diti’s apartment for three nights. I toured around Albania for 2.5 weeks with my Dad. We stayed in about 10 two bedroom apartments during this time. I can honestly say that Ditmir’s was the BEST of all. Not only were there two large bedrooms, there were also two bathrooms and a large kitchen diner area. There was effective air conditioning in all areas. Furthermore Ditmir had made extra efforts to help his guests’ enjoyment of their stay like providing chilled bottled water, a working coffee machine and copious shower gels. He also gave us advice about what to see in the local area. Finally I had a problem after check out as we had accidentally left something in the room. I contacted Ditmir from Tirana and he not only retrieved the item, but arranged for it to be transported the next day with a taxi driver heading south. He even helped liaise with us and the driver so I could collect it. This was particularly impressive as he went above and beyond what you might expect of somebody renting out this property to you for a few days. A really decent guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend letting this apartment to anyone requiring two bedrooms.

Great location in the city center. Very close to attractions, in the touristic area. Balconies all around with stunning view in the city, the mountains and the lake as well! The owner is very polite and helpful in everything we needed. The apartment is new, big, bright, very clean, fully equipped. It was raining when we arrived and the owner was kind enough to bring us umbrellas. It is the perfect choice for rest, entertainment or business in Shkodra!!

There is everything you need in the apartment, it's in a great location, practically in the city centre. The owner is really nice, the apartment is new and it looks warm so it makes you feel like home.

New comfy Apt which offers everything you need to make you feel home in a lovely city. We went there after hiking in the mountains and it was the perfect place to be and relax. Loved the balcony with its stunning view.
