The ants and I would not recommend the breakfast.

The room was on the ground floor and the beds were full of ants. To be fair, I never addressed this with the owners because they spoke no english and we had a hard time communicating. At the end of the day, it’s just ants, so we stayed all 3 nights anyway. The breaker blew at about 1 am for the whole building. I had to find the older woman in the garden the next morning and ask her about the electricity and she found the breaker box in the hall and flipped it on. But couldn’t contact anyone before that, and the first night there with no AC and couldn’t charge our phones was rough. There was no breakfast, I believe it is either no longer offered or maybe we were out of season. Our family room had a “private” bathroom, but it was out in the public hall. I believe all or most other rooms have in unit bathrooms, but I wasn’t thrilled about having a hostel like bathroom situation, or at least wish I knew this up front! Don’t let any of this stop you from staying, we had an incredible stay here! And would definitely come back.

We stayed in the family room with sea views and the view was well worth the room upgrade! The AC worked well, the location is great with a 5 minute walk to the Shiroka strip, and the garden is beautiful! Also these were the comfiest beds we had in Albania. And the value is amazing

No shampoo, no kitchen but there were cups, plates, small fridge and kettle. Bathroom door is a little transparent, but we just put a sheet over it. No proper blankets, just a sheet. Not soundproof, can hear other guests.

Great location near the lake and big balcony with amazing view. Short walking distance to lake boardwalk and restaurants. We couldn’t communicate much with the hosts as they didn’t speak English but they were nice. Theres a light lamp beside each bed which was nice. We were able to park our car easily. It is good to know that it is a house with the rooms rented so other guests are around. If you prefer complete privacy, an apartment would be a better choice.

The hosts were very warm from the moment we arrived. They were patient with us changing the arrival time due to some unseen circumstances we experienced along the way. The rooms were cosy and clean which was the most important part for us after travelling on what was a very rainy evening.

Thé Accomidation was lovely but not that impressed with the town.

Owner is very welcoming, parking is available, it is clean and comfortable, beautiful lake view, eggs, sausage, salad, and coffee/tea for breakfast, a bit of mosquitoes but I always carry my repellent, all in all great value for money.

We loved the location - a 10 min drive into Shkoder. This area is really cute with lots of restaurants on the water. You have a great view of the Lake and town from the villa. Owner was very friendly.

Finding the route and driving to the house was a bit tricky at the beginning. A narrow steep round. Doing it again was no problem though.
