Although the hosts were amazing, it’s important to know a few things. This property is 20-25min walk on a rocky gravel road from the visitors center, which does make it rather inconvenient to take the shuttles or eat at restaurants. The rooms can be quite noisy between the other guest rooms due to the thin walls and floors. We booked the room with the tub, which is nice but there is only 1 open window in the shower, and there’s no mechanical ventilation so the shower/ toilet room so the plumbing smells lingers for a while. It’s manageable if you keep the window open. The lighting in the room could be improved, there’s one large overhead lighting, no separate light for the shower or sink area which makes it rather inflexible at night. The locations of the outlets are not ideal for a “charging station”.

The best part of this property is the hosts. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They do accept credit card on site which makes it easier to pay without using too much cash or using ATMs with 13-14% transaction fees. Most restaurants and markets in Theth will only accept cash. We booked the room with the bath tub which was a nice amenity after the hiking. The views from the property were great, wide open in the middle of the valley. The breakfast was delicious, at the time it was 1 egg, salad, fried dough, Nutella crepe, and bread with many spread options (butter, honey, and two kinds of jam) with orange juice and espresso.

I would probably make suggestions on adding some night time lampshades by the bedside so it gives guests the option to create a more tranquil environment at night time, even if it is simply to have some light to read a book before bedtime.

Lovely hosts and gorgeous location with incredible views of the mountains and lovely garden area where you can relax, have a drink or eat your food! Our hosts were a family run business, mother father and daughter.. catered to all our needs, they were very friendly and welcoming, happy to recommend places and connect with their guests. Do be aware it’s a good 20 mins from central Theth, and the room we had was quite cramped!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was very nice, cozzy and clean. You are not located in the city center which is great. You are closer to other nicer restaurants, river and on the way to waterfall and so on. More calm and nature if you look for this but still close to places. The rooms and bed super confortable.

We had 3 rooms - but only one had Air con ( superior suite) . The room on the top floor was lovely but like a greenhouse - boiling , with one little fan which didn’t help much , and the room on the ground floor was basic had no a/c or fan but was not too hot .

Unluckily the view from the large window of our very cosy bedroom was partially obstructed by the wall of another building and this we couldn’t fully enjoy the scenery of the surrounding mountains

Delicious breakfast with both sweet and salty food. The staff has been very kind and hospitable, ready to give you advice for the surrounding hikings.

Clearness was a little bit not that we expected. Towel was with other people's hairs. You can hear your neighbours but if they are calm this is not a problem.

Place is wonderful, there is very nice nature. Breakfast was simple but enough. Hotel is near to paths to waterfall. Has private bathroom separate from room, but this was a good chance to have it.

There was nothing I didn’t like Infrastructures roads and staff like that it’s nothing to do with the hotel so can’t say much . Hotel was great and had great view

We had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Miqesia. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the place was clean and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature. The location was excellent. It did get quite hot during our stay, and the room didn’t have air conditioning, which could be improved, but overall, we had a great experience!

The curtains are quite thin so let lots of light in early

We really enjoyed our 4 nights staying here. The hosts were lovely and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the garden each morning accompanied by fantastic coffee. We had dinner one night also which was fantastic, too much food if anything but the hosts let us take it for lunch the next day! The mountain views from our room were stunning, a great base to relax and explore the local area.
