Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe only negative was the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working so the room felt a bit damp/ humid after we had showered.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal for us and it was lovely being able to go for a swim in the sea morning before going to explore the rest of the island.

United KingdomNice location, nice pool. Having spent a couple of weeks in Antigua I realised as the beaches are mostly narrow there’s a premium on space along the coast line, which I would say is reflected on the size of the hotel site. Overall very pleasant.

ItalyMosquitos at night are annoying, but it’s not an overall issue of the property.
Location and atmosphere are great. Staff and service are largely welcoming. Great beach and restaurant right by the water. You get to spend most of the day by the water, which is great.

United KingdomThe pool was closed for maintenance during our stay which was a shame but no problem as the property is on the beach so we enjoyed the sea instead :)
Good location, particularly as we only stayed for one night during a layover and it’s not far from the airport. Staff were lovely, felt very welcome. The rooms were a good size, very well maintained & clean with comfortable beds. We ate at the restaurant, it gets busy so make sure you book. Good selection of food and drinks. Overall would happily go back.

CanadaThere was a restaurant and bar on site. The food and drinks were good, but service was painfully slow. For breakfast in the morning guess would be waiting for 20+ minutes before being offered a cup of coffee or given a menu
.We spent a week at Siboney Beach club near St. John’s in January. This was a small boutique hotel with a great location. Upon our arrival, we checked into our ocean view duplex room we had booked. The room was very dated and on two levels. The ocean view was very poor. The room was on top of the restaurant and there was a constant humming sound. There was no hot water and the coffee maker did not work. The queen size bed we booked did not work out for us, We went to the front desk and requested to move. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We move to room 303 which was beautiful and updated with a king bed. The beach itself is quite small although there was always lounge chairs available. The best part of this hotel was the two staff members at the beach, taking care of guests by setting up their chairs, taking drink and food orders. They took a genuine interest in every guest and by the end we’re calling us by name. These guys were amazing big shout out to MARLON and DELROY from the Siboney Beach Club for making our second week absolutely fantastic! Thanks guys!!! Date of experience: January 2025

United StatesThere was no elevator and our room was on the top floor. There could be more lightening along the paths at night. While I felt safe from a person, you never know what animals might be around. Also the kitchen and bath was outdated. The shower had cobblestone. I shower with shoes so it didn’t matter but my husband said it made his feet hurt.
The property was quickly available for a last minute vacation. The space feels more like a timeshare instead of hotel. We later stayed at the Royalton Chic and we preferred the beach here. It was private and there were often times I was on the beach alone. There also wasn’t as much seaweed as the Royalton. Food on site was great!

United KingdomFrom the listing beach seems more private than it actually is, a lot of people come just to take photos. Welcome drink would have been nice to be served in the lobby during check in like a lot of other places rather than just a card given to collect at the bar.

United KingdomOur room was dirty and unprepared. The second bed was not prepared even though I booked a suite and paid to take three adults. The bathroom was covered in hairs on floors, walls and the shower. Once I reported this to reception, they acted on it immediately and throughly cleaned the room and prepared the second bed. It was early season and some wine and food on the menu was not available or they ran out quickly.
Beach location is fantastic, best on the whole beach. Rooms are just seconds away. Check in staff were very helpful.
