How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was nice in Oaks Liwa Executive Suites
Oaks Liwa Executive Suites has become my preferred home in Abu Dhabi. From the moment I arrived, the sense of comfort and hospitality exceeded my expectations. Unlike many international hotel brands that charge for even the most basic amenities, this property provides everything at no additional cost. The suite was thoughtfully equipped, including cooking facilities and all essentials, making the stay seamless. My wife and I spent two wonderful days here, enjoying both the tranquility of the suites and the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, professional, and attentive, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to check-out. The quiet atmosphere also made for restful nights of sleep. Conveniently located near Abu Dhabi Mall and surrounded by everything one might need, the property also ensures that deliveries arrive directly and effortlessly to the room. A truly memorable stay—Oaks Liwa Executive Suites will remain my first choice whenever I return to Abu Dhabi.

The concierge could atleast respect our privacy. Some of the rules are not quite clear. You have to ask. The bathroom could be fixed too much water leakages. The cleaners were not cleaning properly there were finger/toe bails along the carpets

The staff were super friendly, and the location is very good, super close to alreem island and saadyat. The suite we got was great compared to what we paid, would definitely stay here again.

The place needs some renovation, everything, including the towels looked very long used. The location also didn’t seem very close to main attractions, took us around 20 to 25 minutes to each landmark so this means u spend quite some time driving
Comfortable room with a kitchen, washing machine and comfortable bath.

this is not the first time for me at this place, so I know that their furniture is too old (at least since 2015 but still clean)

I didn’t like that there is no way to get into the basement parking without the front desk opening it for you. On one occasion, I had to get out of my car and walk back into the hotel to ask the front desk clerk to open the gate. This was an inconvenience since this area is very congested with restaurants and residential buildings/parking.
This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the Abu Dhabi city area. The premier suite was just like the pics online, so I was very pleased by this. The price was very reasonable, and in short walking distance to Abu Dhabi mall & many restaurants. I will definitely select this hotel again when I am visiting Abu Dhabi!
