How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe villa is very nice and clean. Fully equipped. The pool is big and the water temperature is very comfortable. The barbecue place is well equipped and ready to use. Dina is a very friendly and professional staff who met us and was very helpful. I recommend this villa if you are looking for a nice family place for fun and relaxation.

In a what is absolutely fantastic staycation experience, the way are the red flags to be taken care of. Cleanliness of pool - the filtration pump needs to run often. otherwise, you have algae deposits. Very bad & literally caused health issues to one of my family members. The slope on the washroom is very bad & literally floods the whole bathroom, making it a very bad hazardous for elderly family members (parents). There are no floor mats outside the bathroom - the whole villa becomes dirty, irrespective of how good use is made of washroom footwear.

Cleanliness is very bad. Complained to the other owner and they didn’t take it well at all.
Unfortunately, your review is unfair to us.. You told us after checking out from the villa that there was dust under the bed and under the sofa.. then you gave us a bad review based on that. But what you did not mention in your review is that you violated the villa rules and held a party, and moved the furniture from its place to another place, and left the villa in a bad condition with Excessive garbage. If you look at our previous customers' reviews, you will find that our rating is generally excellent.

All bedrooms was on first floor, the stairs was high. it is not comfortable when you have old parent.

Verified reviewFantastic stay for large families or groups with kids of all ages. The location is amazing and provides a great getaway from busy city life. Also great level of privacy. The villa was very clean and the set up reflects thoughtfulness to accommodate families needs. We had amazing time! We are definitely coming back ☺️

The smaller rooms had bad AC and smelt like dust. The floor in the living room was a bit dirty.

Verified reviewI like the villa itself. The view, the pool, the living room, the kitchen. They are equipped with everything we need from the kitchen utensils to the linen everything are there already! And most importantly we had fun and we enjoyed alot!
Some rooms are small maybe it could be better if all the rooms are like the master’s bedroom 😅

Verified reviewThis villa is truly one of a kind! The location is in a very quiet and clean compound. The villa itself is one of the best villas there with direct access to the sea, a private pool and comfortable rooms. This is the perfect villa for families, friends and to celebrate occasions with your loved ones. The rooms were very clean and comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen is fully set with everything you might need. The living room is spacious with multiple sofa beds. Available in the villa were multiple swimming gadgets and a kayak too which was super fun to use! In addition, The host is very responsive and helpful so there is nothing to worry about.

Verified reviewBeautiful stay, house is fully equipped with towels and everything you need in the kitchen, very clean and comfortable. Outdoors area is amazing, the marina boardwalk where you get to jump and swim in the water is exceptional. The paddle board and kayaks are entertaining. Bbq outside is very nice, and the pool. All the details are taken care, mashallah we visited twice and will be back inshallah.

While we appreciate your feedback, please note that we always provide 12 large bath towels for our guests, as the villa is designed to host up to 12 people, as well as additional large pool towels. While we hosted your group of 15, with no extra charge, we had not been informed beforehand of the additional guests, which would have allowed us to accomodate with additional towels and amenities. For future stays, please not that additional guests are usually chargeable, and we provide additional amenities at request to ensure a comfortable stay.
