How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I had a huge car and parking to enter was okay but parking to leave as a little tight but security helped with allowing me to leave through the entry zone to make life easier as the vehicle was rented
The property was amazing - it was clean, good staff approachable.

The only issue we encountered was that the showers was leaking in one of the bathrooms which resulted in flooding the floor. This was repaired immediately and working perfectly thereafter.
It had great facilities, lovely location and great value for money. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds.

The greatest challenge was the noise from outside as well as from the ventilation system . The hotel does not have soundproof windows. This is the greatest letdown in an otherwise beautiful hotel.
Large sitting room and adequate cutlery in the kitchen. Also the friendliness of staff members especially those at the Reception like George and the lady whose name I have forgotten !

The hotel is currently under renovation, which may affect parts of the experience. Bathroom amenities were not provided. There is no on-site restaurant available within the hotel.
The hotel is conveniently located in Al Barsha, close to the Mall of the Emirates and Metro. A 24/7 supermarket is just 200 meters away, which made it easy to pick up essentials. Staff members were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the enjoyment of the stay. Free parking was available, which was a great convenience. Our 2-bedroom apartment was very spacious, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, reliable internet, and a TV in each bedroom—ideal for families. The hotel is clean, offers excellent value for money, and feels safe and comfortable. The metro station is very nearby, making transportation simple. The surrounding neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and barbers.

Hot water in the bathroom wasn’t great, but the staff tried hard to fix it as soon as we mentioned it.
The apartment was very spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the place felt like home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always responding quickly to any request. Special thanks to the receptionist who acted immediately when we reported a shower issue. The location is excellent – close to everything with many shops nearby. Great value for the price, much better than we expected. The apartment and hotel look even better than the pictures on Booking.com. There’s a nice pool, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use it. Highly recommended – would definitely stay again!

The bedroom windows were double-glazed but the sound of the traffic on the main road was still very disturbing at night.
