Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

What a find. This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. We booked the apartment for my Wife & myself and a twin room for our 2 sons. Everything was perfect. Rooms spacious & clean, Everything you needed was provided. 5 mins walk to nearest lift and central for all shops and restaurants. Breakfast was superb with toast & bacon cooked to order on an open fire. The host Joseph made sure we had everything we needed and couldn't be more helpful. Thank you

IrelandNothing, my stay was amazing
Hotel Les Truites is a lovely family run hotel on the door step of the ski slopes, shops and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop connecting to all stops from Pas de la Casa to La Vella. Breakfast is excellent - loads of options and a huge spread of food. Every morning bacon and toast was freshly prepared on the open fire. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. Ski equipment storage at reception. The best restaurant in town is located under the hotel and can be accessed from the hotel elevator - make a reservation! Josep is an unbelievable host - too helpful, he reached out prior to my arrival and arranged my ski passes, ski lessons, ski equipment, additional excursions at short notice - makes a lovely cappuccino too!! This family make for a stress free amazing skiing holiday. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Les Truites. Thank you Josep and family. ☺️

Amazing hosts, extremely helpful - even booked our lift passes for us and had a contact at a ski hire shop who allowed us to store our skis for free every day so we didn’t have to walk so far with them. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back!

United KingdomVentilation in the room can be better, but can easily be mended by opening up a window. The thermostat in the room also didn’t seem to work.
Property location was very convenient — ~2mins walk from the bus stop, ~5min walk to the ski lifts. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was immaculate, beds were comfy. The family — Jose, Jose, Blanca, and Blanca — were very friendly! We encountered some flight delays on our way and had VERY late check-in (which was inconvenient for all parties involved), so thank you for accommodating us! The breakfast included was great; with the option of having freshly toasted bread, grilled bacon, and scrambled eggs.

IsraelI had an amazing 10-day stay at **Les Truites Hotel** in Pas de la Casa for solo skiing, and I can't recommend it enough. The hotel is a charming family-run business that truly makes you feel at home. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—especially the bacon and fresh bread made on the fireplace. A perfect start to the day. Josep, the owner, was incredibly kind and always available to assist with anything I needed. He was highly responsive, whether through WhatsApp or at the reception, always ready to help and answer any questions quickly. He even provided me with a sewing kit to fix a tear in my jacket—such thoughtful service. The hotel works with a ski equipment rental shop right next to the lifts, which was incredibly convenient. Guests get a discount on rentals, and the best part is that you can store your equipment at the shop without any extra charge. This made getting to the lifts even easier, as I didn’t have to lug my gear back and forth every day. Plus, the ski lifts are just a short walk from the hotel. Another great feature of the hotel is that it’s **adults-only**, which creates a peaceful and quiet atmosphere—perfect for anyone who prefers to avoid the noise and clamour of young children. Overall, **Les Truites Hotel** offered an exceptional experience. The warmth of the family business, the great breakfast, the convenience of ski rentals, and the calm atmosphere made it an unforgettable stay. If you're looking for a cozy, well-located place to stay in Pas de la Casa, this is definitely the spot.

GermanyCosy hotel with a great host family, you feel like you're visiting friends, especially when dad is grilling bread and bacon on the open fire. As skiers, it was perfect that we could buy the ski passes directly from Josep at the hotel, and he also has an agreement with a ski hire shop right by the lift, so you don't have to lug your skis around. The whole house and the rooms are also very well maintained and clean. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had and highly recommended.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from the gondola, and with space to store your snowboard/skis. The breakfast is incredibly delicious, with freshly toasted bread and bacon right from the fireplace. The bed and pillows are super comfortable, the room floor is heated, and the bathroom has a bathtub, which added even more comfort to our stay after a day of skiing. Thank you Josep(s) (father and son) for the care and for the wonderful stay :)

IsraelWe have been only 3 days so I lacked time to notice something bad or wrong.
This is a family hotel where we felt like visiting our relatives in the country house. 2 min (300 m) to the ski lifts. Very personal service, simple but delicious food, bread and meat fry on the open fire in a fireplace was so tasty. Only adult visitors make it quiet and convenient to live. Owners and staff are polite. Room cleaning every day. Relative to price and quality it is one of the best offers in this marketplace.

SpainTo say something, reception closes at 8 PM, but they have the phone of the owner at the door which basically is always available to receive you in the propoerty with a smile. After you check in, you have a keycard to get in after 8PM.
Excellent breakfast options and very attentive staff. The location is just great walking distance from lots of restaurants, ski rental shops and ski slopes. The rooms are spacious and warm. Its location is also in a back street so there is no noise form bars or drunk people. Excellent and unbeated quality for the price.
