How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe location is excellent if you wish to ski, because it is in between 3 good spots for it. Also the majority of the staff at the restaurant are great.
The staff behind the reception give the vibe to be a little less friendly. They barely smile to you. The room require some maintenance - we had issues with flushing, light is very poor already and imagine how worse it got with another non functioning lightbulb. Also the room floors are forgotten by housekeeping because they weren't the cleanest from day 1. No water or coffee facilities anywhere in the hotel once the bar closes. Parking can be an issue especially if you return late in the evening.

Rooms were outdated. Bed is turistic bed not proper frame !!! Also one of the room supposed to have Mountain View and it didn’t!!! Overall clean hotel and close to the slopes that the plus. Staff is nice

Too much to list. Untrained staff. Struggling to log endless data into computers while customers queue up and wait to be served. Then no effort made to provide an acceptable level of service. It was ridiculous and annoying.

Verified review- good breakfest - good price - nice that allows pets - its super clean and has good infrastructure
- customer service: i asked 3 times for single beds and they provide me a couple bed. They dont pay attention to customers. - there isnt parking lot, and in high season outside is full, maybe you wont find a parking nearby. - the bed had a broken leg - only one elevator that takes long - you can hear the bar and the the people outside the room until 2am. Too noisy. This hotel is good if you are looking for something low cost

Verified reviewThe property itself is very nice, with clean rooms, a nice bar/lounge area offering a variety of games, and a good restaurant. The most impressive aspect, though, is the staff at the front desk. I needed help getting cash, as there are no ATMs near the property and cash is required to ride the bus to get to the only ATMs (which are not accessible by foot). The woman at the front desk went above and beyond in helping me by allowing me to use her bus pass to reach an area with multiple banks. This was beyond any customer service I’ve ever received, and I’m endlessly grateful! This helpfulness and general kindness was replicated in every hotel worker I met.
It would be nice if the online information made it clear that the ski shuttle only runs to Grau Roig. Based on the information online, I assumed it would run to Soldeu, so I booked my ski hire in Soldeu and then had trouble getting there due to the lack of access to ATMs to get cash for the bus. It would also be really helpful to be told about the need for cash in one of the pre-stay messages—I ended up paying €35 euros for a 2-minute ride from Soldeu to the hotel because the only ATM in Soldeu was not working when I arrived. A simply message about needing euros to use the bus would have saved me this headache, especially because Google erroneously claims that the Andorra public buses use contactless to pay. I also made reservations for the restaurant twice, and each time I arrived for my reservation time, I was asked to come back in 30 minutes, even though the restaurant was only ever half full. This wasn’t a huge deal as the restaurant is connected to the hotel, but it was a bit annoying after going through the process of getting a reservation and then scheduling my day around the reserved time.

Verified reviewHotel is nice and reasonably priced. Rooms are small but clean. There is a shuttle to Grau Roig ski area. It has a lounge are to watch sports and have a snack.
It is isolated and far from any town so you either walk a lot or have to wait for the local bus, or take the shuttle to the ski area. It seems they take advantage on that and the snack bar and the restaurant on the premises are quite expensive and not that good.
