How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewLoved the rooms, the view, the decor, the friendly staff, the shuttle service to the gondola, ski lockers and equipment hire right beneath the hotel. Breakfast and food in general also great and kids club a nice plus (although we didn’t use it) Really nice to have a large, well equipped gym and spa. Spa is small but lovely, however I do feel it should be included in the price (although perhaps it’s too small to accommodate the number of guests?)
Shower wasn’t very good, always ran hot and cold no matter what time of day we used it. Pillows also not great.

Verified reviewThis was our second time staying here, and it was excellent again. We stayed half board and the food was excellent, breakfast and dinner there was lots of choice. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and always happy to help. we took advantage of the shuttle bus to the gondola, which makes getting to the slopes easy. We will be back again next year

Verified reviewClean, food was excellent, ski facilities in hotel were great.
We booked a quadruple room and it was very small and far too small for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenage children). It felt that they’d only market this room for 4 at peak periods as they weren’t able to provide 4 chairs for the balcony as apparently there were no spare chairs anywhere in the hotel -we only had two for the 5 nights we stayed. I’d advise anyone booking this property to carefully check the published room sizes.

Verified reviewOne of the best hotel services I’ve ever experienced. I traveled alone for skiing in March (late season). Staff is super nice and kind in general, showing a great attention to details. From the warm welcoming at front desk, to the amenities (water, coffee and chocolate) offered every evening by the room service. The hotel has different restaurants with really good food and fair prices. It is located close to granvalira soldeu station (aprox 5 min walk) but they even offer shuttle (I never had to wait as they are always there waiting for customers). Super recommended and will definitely come back in the future with my family and friends. Thank you team!
I would just suggest that I expected from a 5-star hotel to have the spa facilities (pool, sauna, gym) to be included in the price, charging only for treatments.

Verified reviewGreat location, excellent and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and facilities. Easy to rent the ski equipment at the hotel, and the kids Club was a plus. We would like to come back!
Perhaps the only downside was the bathroom. Ours had a small bathtub without a proper shower head- just the shower hose- the water flow was a bit weak. As a result, the shower experience felt underwhelming, with occasional fluctuations in water temperature.

Verified reviewgood hotel very helpful. Massive downside you are charged for use of the pool and given its around £1850 for 2 for 6 days half board. Additionally tap water at dinner is charged which is a bit surprising, however the buffet is excellent.
Extra charges for using the pool is expensive on a daily bases but they offer a 3 day pool deal with 5% reduction but at 15euro a day its not a lot, also if like us having a party of 4 £120 additional to use the pool is a bit off..... they recycle the water glass bottles daily and there is a charge for filtered tap water it dinner which lets the hotel down would look like penny pinching where they can.

Verified reviewGorgeous five star property. Beautiful view and comfortable rooms. The shuttle to the ski area was super efficient and I never waited more than a couple of minutes. Great gym too. Buffet breakfast was over the top. Great dinner options too.
My only issue was they charged 18€ per day if you wanted to use the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I’ve stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels and never been charged extra for these amenities - it’s tacky to me. I would recommend they make this clear in their reservation and offer it as an up charge like half board or full board.
