This is a fantastic value hotel. It's a 10 minute walk to Times Square, mins to a subway ( we used this a lot ), yes there are some interesting characters about but hey it's NYC. We never once felt uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our requests with a smile. The breakfast was great, a lot of choice, the kids loved the "make your own waffles" and the staff in the breakfast room were so good. The room was a good size, certainly for new york - always smaller than european rooms, but you are not going to spend a lot of time in the room. We would happily stay here again.

The water was discoloured as the day went on, we used bottled water to brush our teeth etc.

The room was excellent and location was brilliant. It was super easy to get to the hotel from the airport. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom and shower was great. Their rooftop bar at night was also an amazing touch.

Terrible nights sleep as you can hear everything going on in the corridor. The doors must be paper thin. Stairs from level 1 to level 2 still covered in popcorn from night before Only valet parking on site

Rooms were a bit basic - looked great in photos but didn’t live up to expectations. Staff too laid back! Reception staff when we arrived were not very professional or attentive (receptionist was eating crisps when I approached desk to check in). No help with luggage.
