It takes 10 minutes to drive to Kanchanaburi city centre. Bangkok is 3 hours’ drive away. Everything, but particularly the reception staff. They were so welcoming and helpful. A very vibrant team, they spoke good English and were able to help with everything. The hotel offers lots of tours, but even when we arranged our own private taxi through the hotel to keep down the cost they helped us arrange it all and even made sure their guide would keep an eye on us regarding timing etc. We also used them for transfers to and from Bangkok and they were cheaper than other quotes we had. The restaurant is good too, nice atmosphere, and setting next to the river, though as is often the case in Thailand your food orders arrives at different times. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Cleanest pool you've ever seen. The hotel was quite busy and some guests need to learn how to be more considerate to others who don't want to be in the middle of their pool ball games.

Wonderful location and very kind and helpful staff. Great swimming pool but even better swimming in the river. Very grateful to the staff who helped when I had an injury and needed to visit a local clinic. Hope to return in the future some day.
