The lake is really amazing and even when it was pouring rain it was great to watch while sitting on the balcony. The room is comfortable and the property is charming and has all you need. The owner was very friendly and his pet dogs cats and birds added to the charm of the resort. The area is quiet but you can still get around easily anywhere in Chiang Rai.
