Located in Khatauli, Namaste Dwaar - The Gateway to Rural India features a garden, bar and massage services. The resort has a fitness centre, outdoor pool and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. I was looking for a nice and quiet place not very far for the week-end. I found Namaste Dwaar which is 2 hours away from Delhi. The hotel building itself is an incredible mixture between modernity and tradition (they made a great book to describe the building project). The team helped us to discover the various activities they have in the compound (Restaurants, Game room, Meditation, SPA, ayurvedic botanical garden, swimming pool, etc. including a 20 min tour in the surrounding fields and stargazing at night with an amazing telescope). Enjoyed the room (garden side) which was really quiet, spacious and nicely decorated. There is a place with many restaurants (including incredible South Indian restaurant) and small boutiques next to the hotel where you can spend few hours as well.

Boutique property of the Royal Nepali family has been converted into a beautiful hotel. The hotel is located at the Shivalaya Ghat and has a private steps leading to the Holy Ganga. The courtyard is well situated. The best part of our stay was the staff of the hotel. Courteous, helpful and always welcoming. The food is also amazing. This is a gem of a find. If your purpose is to go to the temples, ask for Sanjay. The hotel guide is awesome and will arrange for everything including wheelchair access should your party need one.

Premises is awesome, surrounded by lush green environment. Property is very clean and tidy. Also it's a Value for money i must say.

Featuring a garden, the 4-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. These Ecotainers are a great place to stay for anyone wishing to visit Agra. Don't let the location being slightly out of the town centre put you off. It is easily accessible by Uber and TukTuk. The private enclosed grounds are beautiful and very secure, with staff manning the locked gates 24/7. As for the rooms, they are beautifully finished, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Good aircon, water pressure and WiFi. Large clean bed for a quiet nights sleep. The staff were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The chef deserves special praise for the excellent meals he produced for breakfast and dinner. We stayed in September, so the place was very quiet, but I'm sure if it was busy, you would still feel an element of privacy in your own garden area. All in all, an incredible little oasis set back from the hustle and bustle of the city's main streets.

The accommodation has a sun terrace and an outdoor fireplace. We stayed 1 nights at Agra Camps and Resort for our anniversary and their hospitality was one of the highlights of our time in India! It’s obvious the owners love the industry they’re in. The camps were beautifully designed, a very comfy bed too! We loved the restaurant and the care they take to deliver authentic Indian cuisine the way it’s cooked at home. Ana and I encourage anyone planning a trip to Agra to consider Agra Camps and Resort I guarantee your memory of the place will be fonder for it!
