Sun Shade Resort truly stood out as our favourite accommodation during our Sri Lankan adventure. The experience was simply perfect, beginning with the delightful private pool right outside our room, offering a tranquil and romantic escape. Each evening, we were treated to an absolutely delicious buffet dinner, showcasing the best of Sri Lankan cuisine. Beyond the resort's impeccable amenities and dining, its location proved to be an excellent base for exploring the region's iconic attractions. I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel tucked away in the heart of Sri Lanka’s lush wilderness — and what an experience it was! The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and cared for, always present but never intrusive. The location is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility, surrounded by nature and just a short walk away from an Ayurveda retreat, which added a wonderful dimension of wellness and healing to my stay. What truly stood out, however, was the authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The meals were a highlight — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, local ingredients. Beautiful room in gorgeous location with amazing gardens. Lots of birds to watch while you take breakfast al fresco. Very close walking distance to high street where there are shops and eateries. Lots of choice for dinner. Our driver was able to stay onsite as they offer driver lodgings.

    The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. The family who run this establishment are lovely. Nothing is a problem and they are keen to help you anyway they can. Sri Lankan Breakfast everyday was excellent and the dinner we had there was delicious. The location is good- we walked to town and had free tuk tuks pick us up for dinner at Roti Cafe and Magic Cafe- both were excellent meals. We really enjoyed our time at Levona Garden Resort.

    Levona Garden Resort is situated in lovely lush and shady garden, peaceful sorroundings, but not far from other amenities. Run by an exceptionally friendly family who go all the way to make their guests feel comfortable. Dulshan will help with any arrangements you need.

    We were very happy to stay at Levona Garden Resort. The owners cook tasty breakfasts and dinners. They help with excursions. We saw wild elefants in the forest and climbed Pidurangala mountain and had there breakfast (the mother wrapped it for us in papers). It was fantastic!!!

    Highly recommended! This is the most exclusive luxury resort we ever stayed in (only 10 rooms) and the service was impeccable. The staff did an amazing job of understanding all our needs and then helping us accordingly. The rooms and the property were really nice. The pool was probably the most scenic I ever saw. The food was great too and served in a very unique setting. Definitely worth the money!

    Our stay at Levona Garden resort was brilliant, made especially special by Dulshan and his incredible hospitality. Dulshan runs the resort with his family (his younger brother was also brilliant and kind) and he made sure we were having the best time possible with amazing tips on what to do in the area, sorting all our transport for us and being so attentive with providing meals at times that suited us. This is a truly lovely family-run property.

    I spent 15 days at Lenova Garden Resort and it was the best and most beautiful accommodation I have ever visited in Sri Lanka. The garden is a paradise, the food is uniquely good and tasty.
