I had the most wonderful experience at the Royal Avila during my stay in Lombok. The hotel has a beautiful location with perfect sea views and jaw-dropping sunsets from your balcony. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The restaurant serves a good range of options at breakfast and dinner offers a varied menu too. The quality of the food was excellent and service exceptional. Throughout the hotel, the service was of the highest order. Everyone is happy to see you and greets you with a smile. I booked three trips with the hotel. They were all excellent and gave a good overview of this beautiful island. I used the Spa three times during my stay and was pleased with the treatments and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend anyone who is planning a trip to Lombok to stay at this hotel. The stunning setting, good food and beautiful decor are all impressive. However, it is the level of service received from the staff that is the standout feature. As a frequent traveller who has stayed in hundreds of hotels across the World, I have to say that the service in this hotel was amongst the very best .....if not the best.....that I have ever received. I will certainly be returning on my next trip to Lombok!

We had such a wonderful week here! The location is incredible, and the staff so attentive. We made use of the fantastic tours, visiting the three Gilis, and two temples (Mayura and Langsur) in Mataram. The spa is exceptional value, and a must if you want to enjoy various relaxing treatments. One of our favourite things was the delivery of a bedtime story and cookies - such a nice touch! We felt so looked after from start to finish, and couldn’t recommend this enough if you’re looking for a bit of luxury in stunning surroundings.

Amazing location, very attentive staff, beautiful and well kept facilities all around. We had the villa with private pool which was fabulous and all we had hoped for. Few vegan options but they tried hard to help us out.

More than fantastic! The staff, so kind and sweet, the view from our room at the sea—absolutely breathtaking! The breakfast? LOVED IT! Every morning, we were treated to a delicious and fresh spread, perfect to start the day. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, a stunning pool, and direct access to a pristine beach. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. We truly felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!
