We liked everything about our stay...we could do with more activities for adults as well as kids...maybe a game room for kids...the Spa could have much more affordable rates...it was so expensive that nobody out of our 22 family members could afford it...apart from that the chalets were really good.Guest review byLutchmanna - 10.0

While we are not so young anymore, we have known Southbroom from days of old, when the road took us through Michael - on -Sea, Manaba Beach, etc. It caters well for all ages. So close to the Wild Coast, Crocodile Farm.Guest review byNtshangase - 10.0
It was my first time in Shelly Beach.
It was my first time in Shelly Beach. My fiancé has been there many times. That's why he suggested it. As we were there for his vacation from work. I would highly recommend the area as it is really beautiful there. Most of the people are friendly and we made new friends so easily.Guest review byLeonéSouth Africa - 4.0

Proper information should be clearly visible on the beach to warn holiday goers of the threat of E-Coli and that people may get sick. Uvongo to stay in is great as it is centrally located, but if you are a beach lover, rather go to any of the other beaches south of Ramsgate.Guest review byIzane MeijerSouth Africa - 10.0

Lovely and peace full just sad that the ocean was contaminated by sewage and the lifegaurd called us out the water to prevent us from becomming sick. My wife accidently swallowed water and became sick because of the ecoli in the water. We felt safe the people were friendly the food was great and the apartment was very nice thank you we spent most of the time on the balcony looking at the ocean. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again next year but for longer.Guest review byJacquesSouth Africa - 8.0
Loved the spaciousness of the bungalow
Loved the spaciousness of the bungalow The beach was beautiful and I enjoyed the privacy it offered The area does not offer much in terms of convenience stores where one would have to ensure they're fully stocked up on essentials before check-in to reduce the lengthy drive in an unfamiliar area.Guest review byLindi - 4.0
Location is good.
Location is good. Stairs are poorly designed and difficult to navigate. Breakfasts were good. One attempted at dinner which was poor. Pillows on beds need replacing. Had to ask manager twice to fix loose toilet (not seat) and this was not done in four days. Told what an excellent chef they had to find it not to be true. Not one comfortable seat in the last room we stayed. There is maintenance to be done on outside woodwork. Overpriced for what we received.Guest review byHendrikSouth Africa
