So clean and very pretty with lots of benches to stop and contemplate - the boardwalk and promenade was so nice. Very quiet and one of the best kept resorts in SA I think. Our stay at Purple Haze was fanstastic! Louf and Thembi were warm and welcoming. Purple Haze is so peaceful and a perfect escape from our busy lives. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equiped. We were surrounded by breathtaking views of the beach and the Cintsa landscape. We would definitely visit again. I ordered in for my family and they enjoyed the different meals delivered by Uber Eats. The place is beautiful, modern, clean, with great sea-views, however I would not recommend it because the hosts are very strict and they also live on the property top floor. They don't even allow day visitors, my sister and her 2 kids came to visit and this was a big issue for the hosts even though they were not even going to sleep over. The hosts even confronted my sister for being on the property which I felt was very inappropriate, it was enough that they talk to me only about this and not make my visitor feel unwelcome. The Wi-Fi connectivity is very poor, even phone calls don't come through even during times when there is no load shedding. I had to go uphill to make calls or receive messages, I could not hold my virtual meetings, had to go out daily to nearby restaurants for better reception.Guest review byNontandoSouth Africa - 8.0

Bad weather otherwise good. Versailles, if signposted not visible from street. Chinese place dreadful for takeaways. Pancake parlour not good either Should have eaten at bed and breakfast but pricey.
