The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful in showing us where everything was. The place has an excellent vegetarian restaurant with a delicious buffet and hotpot. There is also a lovely cafe with good coffee and waffles. We did a couple of the indigo dye workshops and really enjoyed ourselves. One of the teachers spoke very good English which was helpful. The walk to our room took about 10 minutes uphill through a beautiful garden full of flowers which made me think of an English summer, in spite of the cold wet weather. We also met the owner in the garden that she created herself. She offers DIY workshops to make plant decorations as well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and this place is magical. The main attraction for my family is the Rail Bike, there are 3 route to venture. Do take note of different start point location for these ride. A quiet town, there isn't much to do here other than the sleepy seaside. But we love the friendly, slow vibe and always have great food and drinks at "Super Duper" that we can take to the beach and watch the sunset. Good value for enjoying the hot spring and beautiful nature. Breakfast is of good quality served in a great view area.
