I had a really pleasant stay at Rustic. Clean room, nice shower, only a couple mins walk to the centre. Breakfast was one of the best I had in Turkey. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sedar the hotel manager reached out the min I booked to make sure everything was okay. He arranged activities with reasonable prices. Would 100% recommend!

Had a one night stay here - it was fantastic. Location wise, it is uphill, so you get to see Göreme from the top. Really nice and this is one of the hotels with real cave carving. It is only 7 minutes away to the city center (walking leisurely). Room was great, carved from stone, combined with modernized bathroom with full amenities. It is overall clean, and the insulation is great especially since we stayed at winter. Wifi was provided and it was decent. There is also a safe in the room. Service was great, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed here. They asked if we need help with tour or activities during our stay, and were very hospitable. Breakfast was good (middle eastern) - it actually has more breakfast spread options compared to some of the big hotel chains in istanbul. Overall it was a really delightful experience staying here - i'm so glad we chose this hotel.

Excellent experience, even before arriving staff was assisting in planning and reservations, they have a hot air balloon company and took care of reservations. They also made a lot of suggestions as to what to do and see, not necessarily trying to sell you tours, but more aimed at you having the best possible experience, suggested restaurants, etc. Staff at the restaurant was most helpful, even trying to accommodate or change dishes to please guests. I highly recommend this hotel

    Spotlessly clean boutique hotel in the heart of Göreme, strategically located within 5 min walk up the hill to the sunset point and 5 min walk down the hill to the city center. Traditionally decorated rooms yet with all the modern conveniences. Spacious rooftop terrace where you can watch the balloons, sunset or enjoy the panorama. Hearty breakfast including seasonal fruit and veg. We had the balloon trip, excursions and transfers all arranged by the hotel hosts and all the arrangements were seamless.     We went to Cappadocia for beautiful landscapes and watching hot air balloons. And I am glad that we chose this hotel. It is high up and you can watch the whole town and a lot of balloons. Many terraces where you can watch the landscapes or take pictures. Friendly owners and staff who were always ready to answer any questions. Breakfasts will not leave you hungry. The cave rooms were an interesting experience. There was always a place to park the car.

    Our family booked the king suite, suite and junior suite which were all beautifully decorated, cosy, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast buffet spread, and unlimited coffee/tea for guests at anytime of the day. Since the hotel is situated on the top of the hill, we were able to enjoy the beautiful views of the town and hot air balloons from the garden/rooftop.

    Absolutely every single detail was perfect. This wonderful hotel is family-run, and they are all kind and warm. Even the taxi service from the airport is run by the family uncle.     The location was great. The views are great. There were several good restaurants around, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The sunset observatory is also very close. The room was warm and the bed was very comfortable. All of my friends who went with me were very satisfied. If I go to Goreme again, I will stay at this hotel.

    Beautiful and quiet place.

    Beautiful and quiet place. Less busy and less expensive than Georme. Locations near Uçhisar castle is very lively but rule is same. closer your stay to main hub costly and busier it gets.     It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

    Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

    Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

    The old civilization and their remains is a main attraction.. the monk valley view is good and caves of this city is lovey to watch .. night dance live show is wonderful .. u can have a green tour there if u want to explore more about the city .. and hot air balloon is one of the main attraction of cappadocia…
