- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 134 reviewsWe loved this small boutique hotel.. its totally hidden from the outside. Its a loft style room, where we had a large bed on the top of the loft and bottom floor two single beds. Front room where we can unload our luggage. The main room had a dresser and a fridge and coffee station and storage. The bathroom was very spacious. The property had a cafe at the back which was quite lovely like a Barista and we could order any kind of coffee. They also had pastries. The breakfast was great, mixture of western and eastern food. We also had lunch here once and it was really good. The hotel has a lovely pool as the hotel has a fitness centre, which we didnt use. The staff were so lovely - they were all young, some could speak English and some couldnt and we used our language app to communicate. They arranged tuktuk for our day trips and dinner. We went to a lovely place recommended by the staff to try Sukothai noodles - it was so good. 7/11 is across the street so you can any supplies. The main attraction - the ancient city is about 40 minutes away, and it was arranged by the staff. The tuktuk driver was so nice, he took us all over the ancient city. This ancient city is a must as many dont visit here. Its a must if you want to understand Thailand's history. It will be a long day as many of the sites are all over the city, if you can do the main site, which will take you most of the day (walking around all the ruins) and seeing one of the large Buddha statues outside the main area, we were very happy with. This hotel is so lovely, it was written about in a in-flight travel magazine and we were pleasantly happy and surprised as they deserve all the accolades as they are lovely people. We highly recommend this tiny boutique hotel. Second night we walked closer to the main bridge and found a bar where all the expats hang out and found a food hall next to it and ordered food and ate on the street with plastic stools.. we have such good memories of this magical place.Guest review bySivaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,529 reviewsLoved our stay here! The room was ready earlier than expected which was great as we had an early arrival - the bungalow was gorgeous and the pool area was the cutest place to chill out. Everything was exceptional, especially the staff! They went out of their way every time to make sure everything you had everything you needed. On our check-out our transport came to pick us up earlier than stated and left without us before we got to the reception, rest-assured the staff at Thai Thai Sukhothai resort made sure they made all the arrangements to make sure we made it on our bus and even sorted out a tuktuk for us. I totally recommend here and would definitely come back!!Guest review byHayleyMalta
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsExcellent service, location and staff. We were welcomed extremely kindly and helpful. Very nice room, large and very clean. Location super central and convenient to all points of interest. But the highest score is certainly due to the helpfulness and competence of the staff (especially the receptionist!) who helped us a lot, even translating and writing for us a note containing all the allergies - note that is still "saving our lives" in other cities in Thailand (thank you!).Guest review byCristinaItaly

A place to get in touch with history.
A place to get in touch with history. Come here every year and never tired of it. Particularly nice to come during Loy Krathong, the vibrancy of the town is just amazing. The lights, the show, the krathong, the atmosphere are breath-taking. Spend some time at Si Satchanalai as well which is worth visiting as this preceded Sukhothai. We enjoyed the local Thai food at eating places along the street, the food at the night market and the smoothies!!! One thing about Sukhothai is there is no GRAB, so must arrange transport to Si Satchanalai. But no worries, many vendors will take you there for a price, just check locally.Guest review byChristineHong Kong - 8.0

Sukothai's National Park with the ruins of the temples were probably THE BEST I've ever seen. Breathtakingly beautiful and amazing. Don't miss the separate temple ruins at Wat Sri Chum. Ethereal!Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

Sukhothai is an off-the-beaten-path, worthwhile historical area of Thailand—less touristy than other sites, but also more economically challenged. We enjoyed our two-night stay, which felt like just the right amount of time for us.Guest review byTimThailand
