Beautiful location and views- an excellent escape. The staff are fabulous and we loved watching the Mon dance performance and having a tour of the mon village. We loved how passionate the staff are about preserving their culture. The boat trips to and from the pier were beautiful, and the river swimming was so fun! In the morning, relaxing on the balcony watching the misty river and the monkeys in the trees across the water was a highlight. Feeding the village elephant in the morning was also a nice start to the day. It was easy to organise tours- we visited hellfire pass and Erawan falls. It was also easy to organise onwards transportation. In the evening the set menu dinner was delicious and plentiful, with the gas lamps and sounds of the river making for an atmospheric meal. While the rooms are quite dark and fairly basic, it really helps to encourage you to enjoy the day and sleep calmly in the evening. There was a wide variety of guests: families, couples, groups, solo travellers and of all ages. I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful trip away.

Gorgeous location at a bend in the river. It was the height of the rainy season, with strong currents, so no chance of jumping in for a swim. But the location was beautiful and the rooms were well designed with sturdy nets suspend over the water and big pillows to help make loungers comfortable. Ordered the Thai barbecue set at our room and had fun grilling and broiling. Definitely will return in the future!

La Levée Resort is an excellent destination for families and children looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. While it is slightly distant from Kanchanaburi city, the resort's location is ideal for visiting key attractions such as Erawan Falls, Sai Yok Noi Waterfall (Khao Pang Waterfall), and Hellfire Pass. Additionally, it offers easy access to great restaurants in the area. The resort boasts a stunning scenic view that adds to its charm. However, the highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the staff. Their exceptional hospitality stood out, as they went out of their way to prepare Indian tea for us every morning during our four-day stay, making us feel truly at home. Food is really tasty and well prepared.

We celebrated our anniversary and the staff did everything to make our stay romantic and very pleasant overall. The accommodation was very comfortable and we liked the tea and biscuits and longan sticky rice. We felt very much at home. Cycling is also a nice activity to pursue, but a challenge due to the steep hills. Highly recommend!

The whole ambiance of the hotel is very peaceful and the interior design with a lot of wood blending into the surroundings. Hotel restaurant’s price is very reasonable, I brought the package with breakfast only and took dinner at the restaurant. I tried the foot and legs massage and The massage lady is just wonderful and the price is cheaper than the general hotel standard in Bangkok. It’s a great experience!

Nice, quiet surrounding. Great view over the fields. Sleeping in a bubble tent was very cosy. Bathroom with bath is next to the tent and a full window so you can overview the surroundings while bathing... 👍

A wonderful hotel with a large area. We lived in a bungalow overlooking the river, the bungalow was in excellent condition, very comfortable beds, beautiful view. There are 2 swimming pools on site, good food, live music in the restaurant in the evening. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
