When you are there dont feel the need to move somewhere else the view is just amazing and the sunset is probably the best moment to enjoy the big and confortable shared area , they provide you everything you need, Max the owner is very helpfull about everything, his mom is cooking very good thai food, the breakfast is also good but be prépare to eat a lot, i recommend 1 breakfast for 2 people ( believe me), the sharing bathroom are very clean. Went fishing. It was a lot of fun. Big fish, strong. I liked it, I recommend it to everyone! The room is excellent, large. However, it is worth putting a table and two chairs. Everything is clean. There were no insects, although the hotel on the reservoir. Water is brought, cleaned. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is normal, according to the menu. The pool is clean.

FAQs about hotels on Koh Samui

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

As well as a great range of apartments, resorts and villas, Booking.com also has Koh Samui hotel deals to help you get the most for your money on this beautiful island.

Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday

Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)

The first two times we visited Koh Samui we stayed in Bophut near Fisherman's Village. After exploring the island a little more, we came to the conclusion that Lamai was the area we preferred, The beaches were better and sandy compared to Bophut which was more of a slush/muddy fell underfoot. Chaweng was a little too much for us, however, Lamai was just right.

Love the coastal areas & the variety of beaches in Mae Nam as well as the differing local food cultures. I especially liked the relaxed beach at Baan Fah Resort where the water was deep enough to swim just a short distance from the shore - a truly great beach. The best coffee house in Samui has to be Hachiya Coffee Roastery. And I highly recommend G- Bike Rentals.

The Fisherman's Village was fantastic. No car or scooter access at night made for lovely walks along the street, seeing the markets and bars and restaurants in relative peace. Plus none of the typical sleazy Thai bars/clubs.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

This is a great tourist destination.

This is a great tourist destination. Glad we went during the low-season as it made for small, tolerable crowds. Plenty of activities and sights to do and see - we only brushed the surface with our short time there. Go for at least one week. Two would be better. The surrounding Gulf of Thailand offered lake-like calm, turquoise waters. Views everywhere are stunning. We Weill have to return again in the future. Highly recommend, especially the low-season.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I traveled around the island in taxis.

I traveled around the island in taxis. That was really the only way to get around if you did not rent a bike or car. Many attractions to see such as waterfalls, temples, walking street for shopping, elephant sanctuary, big budda & Nathon pier. On my return I will take a ferry to a neighboring island. This would be easy from Nathon pier.

Loved our room! It was very spacious, clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient, quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
