What a fantastic find! Beautiful place with beautiful staff, so helpful. Very peaceful surroundings but close to everything you need. Beach 3 minute walk. Restaurant on site, motorcycle rental and your ticket booking or transport if required. Super relaxing stay. This was formerly part of Sea Sun Bungalows but has started under a new name. Family run resort with exceptional service and care. I love this place so much. I've extended my stay for a few more days and will definitely be back.

Perfect spot - close to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle of the island’s busiest tourist area. The owner was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. They also serve an amazing breakfast - the best banana pancakes I’ve ever had in my life.

Our second time at Lazy Days, this time in the low season. The staff were great and it was a lot quieter (thanks to the annoying party bars being closed) although this meant fewer restaurants open in the vicinity. Really enjoyed the view from the beachfront, but to be honest all bungalows are great. Would definitely come back for a third stint!

    The staff was amazing and very friendly. They went out of the way to keep the property clean-including the beach area. They were out their daily picking up trash. They had live music one night with free apps and drinks while watching the sunset. While we didn't get a chance to explore the island, it was very mellow compared to other places we had been in Thailand. It had more of a locals feel. Adults only also sealed the deal.We will 100% be staying at the Layana on our next trip to Thailand.

    Booked a room for our wedding anniversary and absolutely everything was perfect! I barely mentioned the occasion of our stay and we got upgraded to a superior room. Breakfast was on point, the staff are like long time friends, the equipment is everything you need, the room with bathtub is comfortable and stylish, and the beach at the end of the garden is the most peaceful in Lanta.

    Very nice hotel at the beach. At Long Beach you have the most wonderful sunsets. We had a beach bungalow with a very nice ocean view. The room had a lot of Space and was very clean. The pool area was also very nice and there is a massage service. There are some shops and restaurants in walking distance. The walking street is only 10 minutes by taxi.

    We have traveled a lot over the years, and this hotel is ties with a French B&B chateau for the best resort we've ever stayed at. Everything was about as perfect as it can be. Most relaxing stay ever, especially after a couple of weeks of hustle and bustle in Bangkok.

    Visited in low season weather wasn’t great but that is to be expected. Beaches not good for swimming and littered with rubbish. The vast majority of restaurants and resorts were closed. This island has a very different vibe in the busy season.

    Gorgeous location.

    Gorgeous location. Great for families or people not needing a party outside their door. Plenty of tour providers to keep your days well occupied (shoutout to Goodtime travel for being the best service I’ve seen in a long time). Highly recommend Mons cooking school too - so much fun. Take a trip down to beautiful beach for the most crystal clear water.

    During off season (July) the Island is reasonably quiet, many places are actually closed. Still, we had a great time. We had picked the right accommodation and were lucky with the weather, Still, it was often very windy with one powerful storm, which made the beaches useless: high bumper waves with rocks under the surf. Luckily, we had a great pool at our place. Things to do: Great local food everywhere and very affordable. Mangrove and island cave kayaking Elephant sanctuary (go for the 2hrs option if you can afford it) Old Town (great few form the pier and lots of tourist shops) National Park (jungle walk, lighthouse, beach) Many beaches to explore Scooter hires everywhere

    Koh Lanta is a nice island, I went at the end of the season so not too many people. I think in peak season it might be uncomfortable with the number of tourists. The beaches on the west coast were amazing, we didn't go to any on the east coast, not enough time. Lots of restaurants and night markets. Great to walk along the beach and try different restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. The ethical elephant sanctuary on the south of Koh Lanta was an eye opening experience and changed my views. Lots of walks and waterfalls to see.
