- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at Cabana Deac! From the moment we arrived, the host, Sofia, was incredibly welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The house is situated on a hill, offering the most stunning view of the slope and mountains—it was truly breathtaking. It is cozy, well-equipped, and has a beautiful terrace. It’s also a great spot for families with kids, with plenty of space to relax. Another big plus is the location—everything you need is close by, including a supermarket, a park, and the ski slopes. It made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. We loved our time here and will definitely be coming back. We’ll also be recommending Cabana Deac to our friends and colleagues—it’s a place worth experiencing!Guest review byTianaMoldova
- From £64.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 50 reviewsI have been a regular visitor on an almost annual basis and stayed at Complex Turistic Bucovina / Popas since the early 1990's. I have seen the hotel develop into the beautiful complex it is today. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing with very good food and service. I cannot fault this. I am saddened to hear the previous proprietor has more recently passed away as under her directions she helped develop the hotel into what it is today. Over the years I have regularly recommended my friends and family from the UK and other countries stay at Popas. They have always come away very happy with the service, accommodation and beautiful setting.Guest review bySylviaUnited Kingdom
- From £107.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 788 reviewsThe list is long - everything was excellent Very nice room, great view of the surrounding mountains and the park, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. All the staff were amazing - at reception, the ladies cleaning our room and assisting with the spa and in the restaurant. In the restaurant, I liked the fact there were some plant based options like beans paste and aubergine salad. And the spa was just dreamy, with 4 excellent saunas. I appreciated the Finnish sauna having scented oils available as well.Guest review byAndreeaUnited Kingdom

I really enjoyed my stay in Chernivtsi.
I really enjoyed my stay in Chernivtsi. It's a very historic city, with lots of interesting European style architecture. And for history buffs like me, there's lots of museums to visit. The art gallery is one of the better one's I have been to in Ukraine as well. Chernivtsi is definitely worth visiting if you are in Ukraine.Guest review byDeanUkraine - 8.0

the city is very nice and has lots of facilities . it helps to know romanian since very few speak and understand a different language, people are very nice and in most cases would do what they can to help you. I had also a feeling that there was very little crime in that city and i didnt confront any petty events. it has a good public transportation and it is easy to get around . i eat in different places fast food and restaurants it all was fine and as expectedGuest review byKirmayer - 10.0

A lot of monasteries are situated close to Gura Humorului: Humor, Moldovita, Sucevita, Voronet and Putna - a little bit further. You can visit 2 (two) museums dedicated to the traditional art of decorating Easter eggs - one in Moldovita, the other one in Vama. There is also a very nice steam train in Moldovita - you have to book it in advance. For those who like to take nice pictures, there is a place called Panorama Bucovinei. There is also a tyrolean - a very long line, I understand - for those who like this kind of fun.Guest review byAnonymousRomania - 10.0

You can have a good stay in the city visit the restored Casino, the central park (Squirrel Park) and make a lot of trips to Painted Eggs museums at Vama and Ciocanesti and to old monastires at Moldovita, Sucevita, Putna Voronet etc.Guest review byDanielRomania - 10.0

The city is nice and one can use it as the center for visiting everything around on an area of 100 km. The only downside is that it take too long to get there if you're travelling from the Southern part of Romania. You can add some days of hiking too and you would have the perfect vacation mix.Guest review byGabrielaRomania - 10.0

I am in Radauti quite often as it is a place I stop and stay while going to and from Ukraine. For me the town is perfectly located for that purpose as it is only 20kms from the border town of Siret with Ukraine. Far better to stay in Radauti and then drive the next morning to the border or the same on the way back. Nice and cozy little town that has all you need, great places to stay, great places to eat, plenty of drive through concepts including many drive through coffee shops like Krew! Has a beautiful little town centre and its really a cross roads town where major roads meet and a railway junction, so its not the kind of town you visit to see something. If you are heading West to Maramures National Park, then Radauti is perfect to get supplies and refresh. Always take a hoodie anytime of year though as Radauti can remain cool for longer than in the South and weather can change rapidly and in winter be prepared as it gets very cold! Nice little town to stopover in for a night.Guest review byDylanRomania - 10.0
A historic pearl in Ukraine.
A historic pearl in Ukraine. Compared to Lviv, it got less funding by UNESCO so everything is a bit more less refurbished. But has from my POV more significance as historical center of jewish / german culture for Austria.Guest review byChristianGermany - 10.0

We hardly had time for the city, as we were busy visiting the monasteries around it, which we highly recommend: Putna, Dragomirna, Gura Humorului, Voroneț, Sucevița, Moldovița, Agapia, Văratec. We managed to find some time for the city fortress, which we also recommend.Guest review byMihaelaSweden - 6.0

The city itself is nothing special (although it has a very nice park just to the south of downtown). What make Gura Humorului important is how central it is to the painted monasteries. As a base it is perfect to visit the monasteries of Humor, Veronet, Moldoovita and Sucevita.Guest review byMihaela - 10.0
Wonderful place. To many cars.
Wonderful place. To many cars. And when mention to many cars. Indeed they were to many. But strange. On Easter break , hotels were empty most of all. Two rooms engaged on my 4 Stars hotel. And all the restaurant closed. Lucky I found one small supermarket. I bought salami, bread, smoked cheese, yogurt, some cake bars. I didn’t starve with plenty money in my pocket. But to sum up in few words. Romania is starting to get depopulated. Painfull reality.Guest review byAdrianAustralia
