Paulo loves his quaint hotel and you can tell as soon as you enter. He has put great thought into the theme, bedding, linens, paint colours, decorations, the guest kitchen area, even to the coffee maker. He took the time to greet us personally, help with directions for parking and tell us about a new tourist nature walk blocks from our room.

From the moment when we booked until check-out everything was perfect. The host Celeste was very flexible about our arrival time and very helpful and kind. She did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was coffee, tea, fruit and snacks at our disposal which was super nice. We travel with our dog and it was no problem at all. The house, the room and the bathroom was very clean. We highly recommend! Muito obrigado!!!

Great place for a restful day. Felt like I was coming for networking, the pop-up social drinks made my day. The host was amiable and did the extra to make pumper us... Did not disappoint, it was a great place for a couple of days. The breakfast was enough and everything to please you,q quiet room and plenty of space. If you love wine, ask for the local brew, was amazing in my experience. If I can I will defo come back for a longer stay.

Very special, unique place to stay in a beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Quite, small village where only cows bell can be heard. Wonderful, friendly host who makes you feel like at home.

The staff were phenomenal - Angela, Andrea and Sonia. The gardens are so beautifully kept and produce an oasis of peace. The place is located in town, not far from Mateus Castle But you would never know. But the grounds are extensive and a tranquil river runs alongside. The two swimming pools are a delight. We stayed in the main house the first night and then an apartment for two, as we liked to cook. The breakfast was very tasty. We also had Tapas and wine on one of the evenings which was lovely.
