The property was exactly as the photos showed. It was all very clean, the restaurant was beautiful and the staff were wonderful - so friendly and happy to help. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable and the pool was fantastic!

Modern, Clean, Cozy. The rooms are everything as expected, and the bathrooms are amazing with being modern and clean. The hotel is newly built so I was skeptical with booking here as it didn’t have many reviews but I’m glad i did because the stay was great. The buffet breakfast is in the penthouse and food is clean and hot, you also can view the city from up there. The staff at the top were very formal and always served with a smile. The WiFi was fast and efficient. There was even free Netflix on the smart tv in the room! The location was good, you could walk to the bay walk and SM or restaurants close by, however there’s not much to do there as I was only there for the underground river.

I am beyond happy that i got to experience this resort! Our stay was so amazing, the staff was so welcoming and helpful!! Thank you so much for eveything!! From the planning of a Birthday surprise to organising the transportation to/from the airport and most of all Thank you for the most amazing food everrrrr!! The chef even cooked food for us, which was not on the menu! The view was really breath taking!! Hope to See you soon!!

Then we moved to the Water Villa towards the end of our stay - what an exceptional room to stay in. This place is amazing. We WILL be back. To all the staff members that helped make our stay pleasant: Khai, Jorge (driver), Josie, Dimple, Cly, Vivian, Ruth, Chris, John, Alvin, Mabelle, Beth, Shane, Ricky & Sharlyn.     We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.

    Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bay

    Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.

    The only point of living in this town is to take a tour of the underground river. The city itself is not made for people, and especially not for tourists. The only tourist street is Rizal Street, there are a few nice restaurants there, and that's it - there is nothing else to do in the city, nowhere to walk.
