- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 271 reviewsAuthentic nomadic style tents in a secluded area next to a large dune. The location was perfect to watch the sunset and sunrise on the dune but also could you easily drive yourself back to the village near the desert! It was easy to get there as a meeting point at 3pm was arranged and then you could decide if you would like to go by your own car (totally recommend if you have a 4WD) or pay for a pick-up. The owner was super friendly and greeted us with tea/ coffee and snacks and shared some information about Omani traditions. We booked a camel ride for the morning (10 OMR per person) and were picked up (free dune bashing included) to go camel riding at a nearby camp - we loved it, was very much fun! Dinner and breakfast was good as well with many vegetarian options!Guest review byMarleneAustria

A swimming pool in the middle of the desert?! The “tent”/bungalow is beautiful and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The restaurant is more than you would expect. It has a huge buffet with delicious food. We are vegan and there was always already someone ready to brief us about the options. There was plenty! Wonderful oriental atmosphere! We did the dune bashing wish was fun and we enjoyed the sunset all ourselves and the driver in the middle of nowhere. Magical! Campfire in the evening was also a highlight.Guest review byVivianeSwitzerland
- From US$184.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 250 reviewsBeautiful camp with super friendly staff and a good price including delicious breakfast and dinner. Nice variety, also for vegetarians. We booked the driver as we didn't have a 4x4 car and the price was absolutely fair. After a super fun drive to the camp with a little dune bashing the driver took as on some dunes to see the sunset.Guest review byLisaAustria

Amazing location. Helpful transportation from town to the camp (we couldn't take our rental into the Sands). Freedom to walk up the dunes at night on your own (I went out for astrophotography).Guest review byNickUnited States

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The desert is very beautiful here.
The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 6.0

The resort is nice, I think there is a huge investment in the resort , although I think it will be better to train the staff to be more professional to deal with guests and certainly the restaurant is not up to the expectations especially regarding the menu and the the food served maybe the investment should include a new restaurant much better than the current one.Guest review bySaleh AL KamliOman - 10.0
We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.Guest review byAnonymous
