If I get the chance in the future to go on holiday to Salalah again, I will definitely opt for this hotel. I had a relaxing time in this welcoming hotel. Everything matched my expectations. They have a shuttle bus for the guests who want to go to the beach. But above all, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the personnel working at the front desk whose help was decisive in finding the cellphone I lost inside a cab. Thanks heaps! The location is also remarkable. There is the biggest Mall in town on the other side of the street and an excellent restaurant right next to the hotel where it is possible to eat healthy...not by chance it is called Healthylicious.

Very special accommodation awaited us here, namely the Koofan Heritage House. This is a 150-year-old clay and stone house that has been carefully restored by the owner family. In the individual rooms, you will find numerous original artefacts and pieces of furniture belonging to the family from earlier times, which are beautifully displayed here. The house has 12 individually furnished rooms, a small souvenir shop, a café, a tour desk and a small museum. But the whole house is actually a kind of "open-air museum". While most visitors only come for the museum (admission 1 rial), we definitely recommend at least one overnight stay. A small, traditional breakfast is served in the morning. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to provide guests with an exceptional experience. The accommodation is just 25 minutes from Wadi Darbat and only 5 minutes from the sea. An absolute recommendation! Greetings to the staff from Marco and Nicole from Germany!

Everything was perfect. What we enjoyed the most was the friendliness of the staff. They always greeted us und helped if it was necessary. We would like to mention two persons especially: Rasha on the frond desk. She is such a warmhearted and friendly person. We felt so well with her! And also the man who cleaned our room, Murad. The hotel is near Salalah's city centre. Sultan Qaboos mosque is about 10 minutes walking. The good thing is that there is no criminality in Oman, you feel safe. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, and there are always people standing by in order to help you or clean. The staff at the reception is very kind, especially two guys that I met, Mr Ahmed (Raza) and Mr Musad. Whenever I asked questions to Mr Raza, he was always willing to help me and answer my questions. I would like to thank him so much. The hotel has a small restaurant beside the reception, that offers drinks and meals in low prices. You can find restaurants nearby as well. In general I would recommend this hotel not only as a decent place to stay, but also as a very good choice between quality and price.

    We had a marvellous stay at Souly Lodge and can’t wait for our next visit already! - The room: it was large with plenty of storage and the bed was very comfy. It had a rustic feel and we loved the outdoor shower. An efficient working air con system, which is welcomed in the hotter months. - Customer service: All the staff were so friendly, helpful and hardworking. Our room was cleaned everyday with towels and any soaps being replaced, as well as a bottle of water. The restaurant staff always served us with a smile and went the extra mile. - Restaurant: We loved the food on the main menu, particularly the seafood, which the chefs cooked perfect every time. The food was great value and the coffees/drinks options were plentiful - note there is no alcohol, but you can bring your own to have on your terrace. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts, with the omelettes and french toast being the highlights. - Beach: Absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear, there were enough loungers and shaded areas for all the guests, and with plenty of privacy. It was a very peaceful beach and if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the best place to be. - Extra amenities: There was a pool table and table tennis, which we enjoyed using when we wanted to escape the sun. The lodge also hosted some Arabian nights that included a buffet, musicians, tea and dancing. Please note that for leaving a tip for all the staff, they only take cash. We absolutely loved our stay and it’s the most relaxed we’ve felt after leaving a holiday destination. Definitely recommend to all!

We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned.     We got something like a separate small villa with our own terrace and it was really nice! The room itself was spacious and cozy, had everything required - bed, desk, fridge, chairs; bathroom had all amenities including toiletries and towels.     Amazing lagoon landscape, with direct beach access. Beach is amazingly white, clean and you can walk in quite far - depending on the waves, only. Exceptionally beautiful "holiday town" Hawana Salalah with many different lagoons, private villas, 3 large 5-star resorts, some shops, restaurants. Approx. 15km from Salalah town / airport. So, you should rent a car straight from the airport. Great excursions going up into the mountains ... sand dunes, waterfalls (depending on the season), Hiob's graveyard, Taqah castle + fortress etc. ... nice big shopping malls in Salalah

    Salalah is a unique mix of nature, calmness, and culture. We loved driving through the lush mountains and enjoying the cool khareef weather. The waterfalls and green valleys were breathtaking. It’s easy to get around by car, and there are plenty of scenic stops. Great for couples looking for a quiet, refreshing escape. Don’t miss the local frankincense market and beach sunsets!
