The apartment was really big and spacious, with comfortable beds and furnishings and a really well equipped kitchen. Great location in the little town centre, and attached to a pub which served really good food, either to eat in the pub, or to takeaway. An ideal location for us to explore the beautiful Catlins area.

Apartment had wonderful views, was spacious, and clean. Kitchen utensils were top-notch, knives were sharp which isn’t usually the case! Host was frequently in touch before my stay, and it was very helpful to point out that the only restaurant in town was closed on Sunday, so we could be prepared well before we arrived.

The house is beautiful, warm and very comfortable. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a room with double bunks and a sofa bed in the living room. The layout of the house is so good, and a huge bonus was a lockup garage. The kitchen was extremely well equiped plus there is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The air-conditioning was very much appreciated as it was freezing, raining and hailing most of the day. Be sure to get supplies along the way as there really isn't any shopping in and around the area, though there are some cafes.
