- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,612 reviewsThe rooms were spacious, well maintained and extremely clean. They had everything as promised and matched the pictures. As a standard, they provide a small kitchenette in room with cutlery, microwave, mini fridge and a coffee set. The room had a heater, air conditioner, television and also a working jacuzzi. Fresh towels were provided with amenities except a shaving kit. The wardrobe had a hair drier and iron with iron board. The staff were extremely friendly and kept a good eye for anything left behind post check-out. Room has instruction manual for everything, including the air conditioning and all electronic equipment. A small booklet was provided with guide to Whanganui. The property is placed at a perfect location, right next to major supermarkets and fuel stations, the Whanganui town is about 15mins walk from the location. Although there is no restaurant on-site, fast food joints are right next to it within walking distance and so is Whanganui town as mentioned.Guest review byRonIndia

We were in PN because of treatment at the hospital for recently diagnosed cancer. On discharge from the hospital we choose to go to the cafe Thyme and Fig. We spotted a car park right outside the cafe. Perfect as my wife had a catheter in tow and was wearing her pyjama bottoms. When we had hydrated we decided to head home to Greytown. You guessed it- we got a parking fine. I'm afraid that soured our stay in PN. We were frassled and never thought about a parking infringement. There are no parking meters in Greytown so it certainly wasn't on our radar. I'm astounded that the fine is $70. That is steep for pensioners.Guest review bySueNew Zealand - 10.0

Ohakune is a town still recovering from COVID and some not so good ski seasons, but it is beautiful and well worth the visit. Apart from skiing and snowboarding, the mountain is a beautiful place to hike, mountain bike, or just visit for the view. Ohakune is small and easy to get around, with great cafes and restaurants. The ski shops are fantastic with really helpful staff (TCB is amazing).Guest review byKateNew Zealand - 8.0

The management is chaotic. I lost my ski poles.
The management is chaotic. I lost my ski poles. It took me an hour to find them among three girls. I found that all their equipment was someone else's. I was shocked. There were too many novices. My friend's child was hit three times in one day. It was really dangerous.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Unfortunately the unit we stayed in was infested with ants which were in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We awoke to find them in our beds and crawling all over us. Most unpleasant experience. I advised the manager but he didn't really apologise and I believe he was aware of the situation. His response was that he would need to get a pest controller in. I felt he didn't believe us, but we showed the cleaners and they were shockewd.Guest review byDionNew Zealand - 10.0

My baby and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed everything about Waiouru. We were at the Oasis motel which is across the road from the Z gas station and next to a Diner, bakery, bar & bottle store which breaks off from the motel but still far away from the rooms. A bit secluded but love how everything’s so close and the nice cold weather.Guest review byShaniquaNew Zealand
