The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Exceptional service. A very intimate family run hotel with excellent facilities, whilst maintaining historical building and antique furniture making this a very unique hotel to stay in. Setting and view also beautiful.

Lucky me I am Viking - opposite to most of the nowadays "Vikings in Teslas" :) When I have opened my room - the temp inside it was almost like outside :) But! That is only my fault - I did not specify the time of my check-in. And did not ask personel to increase it :) Lovely and friendly staff on main desk, fresh and big breakfast, perfect location :)

Wonderful staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel itself is a fascinating building- architecturally unique; it’s full of interesting artifacts and pictures which the very knowledgeable staff are only too happy to describe/explain. Dinner was wonderful - three courses was absolutely more than enough! Breakfast was equally good. We were only there for one night but wished we were there longer

The hotel manager and her staff were attentive, helpful, good listeners, and happy. We enjoyed all interactions with the staff. The breakfast was a feast. Beautiful and delicious. Canadian hotels could really learn something about breakfasts that are included with the room. The location was superb. Right in the heart of town. They do need to re-think the front entrance. I think it needs to be more accessible for the physically handicapped. Overall, a great hotel!
