It was worth making the long trip to the hotel because the location, accommodation, and scenery were amazing. The hotel's decor meticulously followed the style of the 1920s and 1930s. The walk up the mountain behind it at dawn was memorable and the scenery stunning. The breakfast was very good with little birds flying around us! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ndina, whom we nagged with quite a few requests.

The chalets were spotlessly clean, well equipped and very convenient after a long drive from Cape Town. The little touches of ground coffee with a plunger and Darling toffees were much appreciated and the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again, great value for money.
