I came for work and spent couple of days here, the city has got two main atractions: the Cathedral and Madre de Dios caves, both are worthy to visit and last one not very known: The cathedral is beautiful and caves take a guided visit of 75 minutes, I really enjoyed it. There are several museums if you want to know the history better, and the ground floor of the Goverment Palace is able to visit and enjoyable. I went also to Tres Presas Metropolitan Park, it's not something spectacular, but there is a very nice walk around a dam to enjoy it in the sunset; furthermore, I also spent one day in Majalca Federal Park at 1h by car and it is really nice to visit. Two or three days for Chihuahua is enough, however, if you want to go to Creel or Tarahumara mountain chain from this city, you need more days.Guest review byAdriánSpain - 8.0

Nice little town, there is few attractions to see nearby, Veru nice museum right at the train station focused on Raramuri - indigenous people from this area - their way of life, art etc Pleasantly surprised with state of street dogs - this town - unlike neighbouring others does look after them, with food stations on the streetGuest review byDawda - 10.0

The restaurant service and food were excellent Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the order had errors, some food arrived cold twice and a beer arrived at room temperature. The waiter on Saturday seemed confused and when we went to the front desk to complain five staff were all texting on their phones. They did remove the cost of the cold order which should have been hot. The had tried to microwave it but that only made the bowl very hot and not the contents. We will try again on Sunday. Parking availability is an issue.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 8.0

Cabanas los portales was 5 kms to the adventure park which is the only attraction in the area. There was no public transport to it. It was certainly worth spending 5 hours there, taking the cable car and considering a guided hike. The woman running the place was very kind My very poor Spanish was a huge barrierGuest review byHildaAustralia - 10.0

For your interview consulado ( ciudad Juárez ) you need 6-7 days - this hotel is perfect for your needs !! Consulate & clinics , walking distance ! No need car - area is safe - restaurants - big mall all you need is there ! Hotel is decent price , community in that area is small so main income is guests that travel for emigration interviews ! This is better option than home stay . Please don’t expect fancy beds , wide screen TV breakfast buffet !! Free laundry !!! Coffe , snack bar .! Compare prices this a nice hotel for the price ! Good luck in your interview . ( important - if you fly from CBX - Tijuana airport be ware aware , buy one way on the return buy ticket on line for the return ( no airport airline staff all day ) volaris to contact a human operator is poor ! ) This was the only mild negative issue !!!Guest review byJohn RubioMexico - 10.0
Chihuahua is a very underrated city to visit in Mexico.
Chihuahua is a very underrated city to visit in Mexico. It has a beautiful, historic city center with lots of colonial buildings and beautiful, 18th and 19th century churches. Also, there is a strong indigenous population (which you see all around town - The Tarahumaras, who come from the Copper Canyon Region).Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Creel has good tours half day or full day. People are friendly and helpful. Starting point for El Chepe Express to Los Mochis or finishing point if on El Chepe Express from Los Mochis. Or El Chepe Regional can catch from Creel to Chihuahua or Chihuahua to Creel. We did All of El Chepe Express in both directions over a few days and Regional from Creel to Chihuahua at end of trip. Good ambient, very friendly people, about the safety is being said that Juarez is a very violent city, I will say that here in Juarez people is very respectful and extremely friendly and extremely hard working. Are you looking for peaceful place to travel or do businesses, here is the place for peace now days., but if you are looking for trouble, trouble will be found here too!Guest review byAlbertoUnited States
