Staff are very professional special thanks to Manager who know more than deserves his job due to great experience Mr. Paul, I would also like thank head chef Alagiyawanna for the great food and service provided during our stay. Other staff I can’t thank enough are Tuan and I think his name was Fazal/Fizal? Also thanks to Irufaan for great service beyond what’s expected. Not least the housekeeping staff. The hotel is a beachfront with a spectacular view! The name of the villa speaks for itself because the sun sets in front of the villa. The food is very delicious! Breakfast is at 7-8am for $10 Lunch is at 12pm-1pm for $12 Dinner is at 6pm-7pm for $15 You have to pre-order if you want to avail because they will only prepare a set of menu. The only downside is that whatever they prepare, you have no other option. But we liked everything they cooked! It comes with a side dish, dessert, main dish, juice, and snack. At first, we were looking for other cheaper options outside, but Sunset Villa is the best option. With other restaurants, you'll have to buy everything, even water. In Sunset Villa, it's already a set meal. Other tourists who booked hotel with others even order meals from Sunset Villa. The housekeeper cleans and replenishes the toiletries without even requesting. They do it when you go out for activities. No need to worry about your valuables because they have vault. Most importantly, ALL the staff are very accommodating. Always wearing a smile. They are quiet and very friendly. P.s. You can make unlimited coffee 😉

You will fall in love with the Avyanna Hotel! Simply enjoy and relax! It is amazing: it felt like home! We were always welcomed so warm heartedly that we felt like staying at our family or best friends - here on Guhli island! We miss them already! Thanks a million! The hotel is so clean, food is absolutely delicious and we enjoyed so much dining outside with our feet in the sand and simply enjoy and relax. Did I mention that team is exceptional?! We were surprised by them every day! Our room was lovely: friendly and bright with big windows that allow wonderful views to the ocean, sunrise and sunset. We had our own balcony but you can also use their big terrace. We were all the day at the beach and really loved the beach beds reserved for Avyanna’s guests & softest beach towels, too. (It is just a 3 minutes’ walk in the sand to get to the lovely lagune.) Bring your snorkeling set, be prepared to swim for a while crossing the wide flat area to get to the reef slope. You will be remunerated by a beautiful reef where you will see millions of fishes! Sometimes WLan in the room was not working and we came down to the inviting lobby. A good moment to enjoy the delicious, freshly made fruit juices! We highly recommend to do a private tour with Avyannas’ tour operator Shabi to see the turtles naturally eating sea weed in a lagune of another island. Shabi is the most wonderful tour guide - extremely lovely & cool with kids and interested in sustainability. We had so much fun! Plus he is a blessed free diver and photographer and awaits you under water to capture you and the colorful under water world and its creatures: so we got amazing videos and pictures - memories for a life time & and real fun! Thank you! We had dreamlike holidays thanks to the Avyanna team!

    The resort is 15 mins travel by boat from the airport which is very convenient. We booked for the sunset water pool villa with private pool and jacuzzi and it's just perfect. The room is neat and clean, spacious and good for snorkeling. We enjoyed the private pool, we've read some comments before that it's small but we really think it's just perfect for the size of the villa. We also had a wedding ceremony/Renewal of our vows and we couldn't be more pleased how it turned out perfectly. Thanks to all the employees who made it very memorable to us. We appreciated much all their effort. Adaaran Prestige is really the top from all the private resorts we have been to. All their employees from the spa and restaurants are very polite and friendly. (we went for a massage twice, it was very good and worth the price) Mr. Anthony is very professional. He coordinated everything well our wedding ceremony and he always makes sure that we would always get the best experience to enjoy our whole stay in the resort. Thank you so much also to our personal butler, Ajay. He is such a genuine and nice person making sure that he arranges and provides all our needs. Thank you to you and to that other lady for capturing our priceless moments during our wedding ceremony. We loved all the photos. Thank you also to the cleaner of our villa for the wonderful decoration in our villa on the day of our Wedding. He makes sure also that our villa is always neat and clean. We tried all the 3 restaurants, have less varieties but it was totally fine. It was also lovely to spend time at the bar every night after dinner and have some drinks and enjoy the music. We stayed for five days and we wanted to have more. if we ever go back to Maldives again, we would definitely choose Adaaran Prestige Vadoo again. Thank you so much again for making our whole stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for your dedication and excellent service!

    I recently spent 3 nights at Arena Beach Hotel, marking my first visit to Maafushi Island. Although I wasn’t fortunate enough to experience sunny weather, it didn’t affect my overall enjoyment. My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. Arrival Experience: From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. Check-in was quick and efficient, and I received all the necessary information about the property. Room: My room was stunning—both stylish and comfortable. I’d like to extend special thanks to my housekeeper, Robel, for providing exceptional service. The balcony offered a breathtaking sea view, which I thoroughly enjoyed while sipping my morning coffee. Spa: During my stay, I visited the Arena Spa and received an incredible massage from Therapist Sonam. I highly recommend trying the spa treatments—they’re a must! Excursions: The hotel offers a variety of excursions, and I joined the popular “Half Day Trip.” This included a visit to a local island to see stingrays, swimming with nurse sharks, and lunch on a picturesque sandbank. The experience was unforgettable! I’d like to give a special shoutout to the guides—Kalu, Shani, and Bippu—for their exceptional care, fantastic video captures, and friendly energy throughout the trip. Staff: The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. A big thank you to Reena for assisting me with all my queries. Overall, the entire Arena Team made my vacation truly unforgettable.     Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels). We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water. The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful. Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

    Just an amazing hotel. 15 minutes from the airport by super comfortable speedboat. No need to wait the transfer at the airport as the boat is already waiting for you. The island is unbelievably beautiful and the house reef is just awesome (saw huge tortoise while snorkeling). Rooms are beautiful, bed is super comfortable, Acqua Di Parma cosmetics in all the rooms.     One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

    Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

    We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.

    It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍 I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
