- From £916.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 194 reviewsFrom the very moment you step into the Maldives, Lily Resort takes hospitality to a whole new level. Even before arrival, the hotel reaches out to arrange transfers, ensuring a seamless start to your vacation. While we initially opted for a domestic flight and speedboat (not recommended, as you lose half a day), our return by seaplane was nothing short of perfection—quick, luxurious, and topped off with a VIP car greeting at the airport. Pure bliss! From the second you land, you are treated like royalty. Greeted by the general manager, guest relations team, personal butler, and even a live music orchestra, you instantly realize you’ve arrived in paradise. The attention to detail is impeccable—your butler takes care of everything, from a buggy tour of the island to offering a refreshing cocktail and cooling face towel after your journey. Whatever you need, they are just a message away. Overwater Villa – A Slice of Heaven (10/10) Stepping into our overwater villa was like stepping into a dream come true. The room was spotless, beautifully scented, and elegantly furnished, featuring: A massive bathroom with both a jacuzzi bathtub and a luxurious shower. Thoughtfully provided amenities—toothbrushes, razors, combs, shower caps, slippers, plush robes, and endless towels. A private infinity pool with a jacuzzi, filled with perfectly warm, crystal-clear water. A unique outdoor bathroom, where you can gaze at fish while taking a shower. A super-comfy king-sized bed with the freshest linens, plus a cozy daybed ideal for lounging with premium-quality TV and music systems. A fully stocked minibar—soft drinks, alcohol, snacks, and treats, all included! A spectacular glass floor panel, giving a mesmerizing view of marine life beneath your feet, day and night. Reliable high-speed internet—no lag, perfect for video calls and streaming. Everything in the villa was designed for absolute comfort—10/10 perfection!Guest review byAndrejsLatvia
- From £409.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 286 reviewsCentare resort was our beautiful hideaway for 15 nights. Right after we stepped out of the seaplane our honeymoons have started. The whole team made sure that our dreams came really true. Our first contact was with guest service manager Sveltana. She welcomed us with open heart, welcome drink und very professional at same time. She was always reachable per Whatsapp, if there were some questions or we needed some help. We felt very good served during our whole stay. Our room attendant Samsul did his job on such excellent level. He came many times per day for cleaning up, a little small talk and filling up the water bottles. He got sure that we have all we need. Every time when we came back after his cleaning, the villa looked like brand new! Additionally he has surprised us with many sand drawings (outside the villa) or inside with the towels (elephants, angels). He did his job with passion and perfectionism to the last detail! The staff from the “Reef bar” did amazing job too. We really enjoyed the excellent services from Habib and Jasim. They knew us very well and have never forgot, what are our favourite drinks. Plus they filled up our ice cube box automatically. When they had time, we did some small talks and they come automatically to the table and asked if we need something. The food itself was just AMAZING!!! The buffets offered a huge choice of food, vegetable, salads, fresh fruits and deserts. The quality of dishes were comparable with very good europeans restaurants. We were many times wondering how its possible to prepare it with such quality on a small island in the middle of Indian ocean! Our side-dish highlight were the fresh made butter garlic naan from Masut! If you like Indian kitchen you gonna love it! What we either appreciated were two “a la carte” restaurants on the island (italian and thai). Both had very professional staff and delicious dishes.Guest review byLukasSwitzerland
- From £454.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 579 reviewsOverall, all was great, best vacation we've had, wonderful honeymoon! Location was amazing, we got a sunset water villa with a jacuzzi, rays would swim around our stairs, it was 5 meters snorkeling to the reef. Food was awesome, varied, buffet style, we tried both all inclusive and full board. We found the latter more cost effective as we didn't drink that many coctails and water was included for all meals, plus tea/coffee/juice for breakfast. I highly recommend the candlelight dinner at the beach with grilled lobster. We had an amazing server, Shafan, who took excellent care of us for 3 hours. Best and most romantic dinner I've had, and I've had many! We spent nine days and always had plenty to do. We snorkeled every day. Vilamendhoo has a wonderful live reef. We saw a turtle, eagle and sting rays, sharks (I'm in general very wary of these creatures and had some apprehension coming in but these were cute and harmless), a muray eele, and all sorts of wonderful colorful fish. Bring a gopro camera! We took a full day trip looking for whale sharks, turtles, and manta rays. We missed the whale shark by about 15 minutes but swimming with manta rays was memorable. We did 5 our six snorkels with them, led by a great guide Haisham. Afterwards he was kind enough to send us cool pictures and a video from the day. The all inclusive package also includes a 30 minute photo shoot. We got some great pictures out of it, like a postcard, no filter. Other highlights included night snorkeling (we'll have to come back for fluo), windsurfing, seeing cool birds and orange fruit bats, as well as a free dinner at the Asian wok restaurant (part of the 5 day all inclusive package, great atmosphere and view, baby sharks have their meeting place under the restaurant). The villa was great, clean, and cleaned twice daily. There were no bugs in it and overall very few on the island.Guest review byTomasGermany
- From £932.37 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 54 reviewsThe trip was truly incredible! We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time, thanks to every individual who worked at the resort, and everyone who had a part to play in putting our adventure together. From the moment we stepped off the boat, we were greeted by the owner and some of the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay, their attention to detail was phenomenal. The food in every restaurant was lovely, and there was enough to keep any palate satiated throughout their stay, along with a plethora of drinks options, whatever your tipple. The location itself was fantastic, surrounded by a magical reef that was teeming with wildlife, from colourful fishes, to turtles and reef sharks. Travel further afield and you can see manta-rays up close and personal, that one excursion was particularly awesome. If you want to be active on the island, the gym is adequately stocked with a enough equipment to keep you busy, and you can use the variety of water-sports equipment too, as well as a nice spa facility that offers expensive, but very enjoyable treatments. If you don't want to be so active, your time can be whiled away simply ogling the incredible turquoise waters, and the soft white sand that envelopes the island. Overall, we hoped that our trip to the Maldives was going to be special, and it exceeded our expectations in every sense, particularly the spell-binding scenery, but also the staff, they were awesome. We enjoyed celebrating our 20th anniversary, and we will no doubt return to celebrate another milestone in the future. Thank you!Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom
- From £744.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 287 reviewsConstance is a small hotel group with hotels in the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar. We have stayed at almost all of them because the service sets Constance apart from other hotels. The management takes care of all the guests' concerns. E.g. everything was perfectly organised for my birthday. A great menu in the wine cellar of the Jinn Restaurant (special thanks to the head sommelier and the chef who conjured up the menu). The bungalows are very nice, all with their own pool. Housekeeping twice a day who clean everything perfectly. The in-villa dining is perfectly organised. The food is not cheap but very good. The same applies to breakfast and the two a la carte restaurants and the buffet restaurant. Even better at Christmas and New Year's Eve with a great selection and super quality of all dishes. The wine list, whose wines you can enjoy in all restaurants, is breathtaking (over 100 pages!!). The spa is very good and staff also super friendly. A great holiday from arrival to departure. We would especially like to mention Mr Sameera Karunaratne, the Food and Beverage Manager, who checked with us every day to make sure everything was OK. My husband was not so fit for 2 days and Mr Sameera Karunaratne organised a very special meal for us in the villa. We didn't have to ask or pay anything extra for it. The same applies to a special evening with a menu on the beach because we missed the Christmas menu due to illness. Strongly recommended hotel!Guest review byTatyanaGermany
- From £767.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsThis was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.Guest review byIreneItaly
- From £607.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsThe resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive. Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food. We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommend this resort for couples.Guest review byHassanUnited Kingdom

Myself and my wife had requested vegetarian meal - the breakfast and dinner had so many options that we were eating 3 plates every day. The rooms were amazing. The shower idea that has you hearing the ocean while shower just brought that extra special feeling. To be able to open your balcony door, go out and straight into the Indian ocean. Amazing friendly staff - always wishing you well.Guest review byAlokAustralia

Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach,...
Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.Guest review byHanaCzech Republic - 10.0

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.Guest review byMaureenCanada - 10.0

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.Guest review byOlgaRussia - 10.0

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommendGuest review byZoran GolomeovNorth Macedonia - 6.0
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.
Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.Guest review byEllenCanada - 6.0

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.Guest review byYvetteSaudi Arabia - 10.0
A Wonderful Beach Holiday.
A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.Guest review byRomanBangladesh - 10.0
Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals.
Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.Guest review byErichAustria
