You can step into the water and enjoy pretty sunsets right from the spacious porch, and one of the best fish restaurants we’ve ever been to is just a few meters down the sandy river bank. The cottage itself is pretty and clean and equipped with everything you might need, Ljiljana even provided washing detergent and a water cooler with drinking water for us, and a welcome drink was waiting for us in the fridge! Liljana is a very warm and welcoming host, she takes the time to explain everything about the cottage and the area and is happy to answer questions. This is not just another faceless, functional cottage but the loved vacation home of a family which makes it special and fabulous. The balcony view was amazing, the location is a nice walk from the bus station throug the city, and it is 10 mins walk from the best part in Ulcin. Their breakfast was just lovely. The ADA destination is a typical holiday spot where tourists come to enjoy entertainment, nightlife, and attractions. The surrounding area offers plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, and beaches. Attractions included jet skis, boat trips, horseback riding, live music, and numerous opportunities for walks and exploring the surroundings. The city is easily accessible and quite clean. During peak season (July, August) there is traffic but it is manageable. I find majority of the city is walkable. Many restaurants, shops, coffee shops and local markets for groceries available. Beaches have both public and private beaches close to each other. For public beach it is just sand so bring your own umbrella and blanket. Private beaches have chairs and umbrella for €15-25 depending on time of year and beach. Note, beach showers and bathrooms are not the best or they may not exist so need to pre plan a little. Food is good, pizza, seafood, pasta and local cuisine. English is spoken in majority of the shops. The old city is accessible and worth a visit, both at night and day.Guest review byGasi - 8.0

The only means of transport is car/taxi, there are just very few intercity-buses. If you are interested in guided tours, there are no offers in Ulcinj and you would have to go to the nearest touristic city - Bar - if you want to go on an excursion.Guest review byAnna
