Our stay at Katamare Hotel was fabulous. It is a really beautiful and well-designed hotel that exeeded our expectations from start to finish; and its friendly and thoughtful staff (with special mention for the Food & Beverages Manager) from Reception to the cleaning team, truly went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is located right on the beach and has its own section for hotel guests. The restaurant was great, with some very lovingly prepared menus (well-priced for the quality) and the breakfast was also good. We had no issues with construction noise (mentioned in some previous reviews): for sure there are hotels being built all around, but there was no building work being done when we stayed.

We arrived pretty late to the hotel due to a late start. The staff knew us by name when we arrived and sincerely did everything they could to get us parked safely, into our room and some basic knowledge of where to go for a quick bite to eat. So helpful!

We had a truly memorable stay at Hotel Conte. The location is perfect—right on the waterfront with stunning views that make every moment special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, giving us the perfect balance of relaxation and charm. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure our family felt at home. They were especially thoughtful with our children, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options, and dining by the sea created such a wonderful atmosphere. Everything about the hotel—from the setting to the service—made our time here relaxing and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Perast. We look forward to coming back!

This is categorically, definitely an indubitably the best hotel we have ever stayed at ever. 💓❤️‍🔥 We have stayed at many hotels over our travels and this by far is the best. 😊👍It's not just the best because of the hotel itself, the rooms are impeccable and also the best room we've ever stayed in with the most beautiful views of the sea and a double balcony. Not just for the amazing spas and swimming pools here. It is truly for the level of care, kindness and love shown by everybody who works here. I don't truly know where to begin with our "thank yous" for everyone. 💞Firstly Jovana, David and Jasmina on the front desk and everybody else who works there, Tijana, Elza and Svetlana (for her wonderful massage too) and to the bar/restaurant staff and maids (with the best cocktails) and Igor, Andrea, Milica, Milena and Anna and to the chef Stefan (who cooked us THE best Sea food platter we have ever eaten), the managers and everybody else I may have missed, sorry if I did. You all deserve a raise in salary and are by far the best team individually and as a group! 😁😁😁💞You have made our stay the best ever.❤️‍🔥 We were only staying for a short while but stayed longer because of you all, your care and love, compassion, kindness and help have all been amazing.     We didn't stay in Villa Garden, we had an upgrade to "The new hotel Mediteran - Villa Edition" and it was absolutely amazing, we had sea view, big room, big bathroom, big balcony, we could order food, great WiFi connection, pet friendly. Breakfast was delicious and there was very nice staff.

    Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed the cable car and a boat ride but there is lots to see and do. We had a car so we could travel a bit in the area. The coast drive to Tivat is lovely and we enjoyed some time in Tivat. A word of warning. Traffic jams are an issue. Driving through Kotor can be painstakingly slow. As I write, August 2025, there are major roadworks between Tivat and Budva, which is about 25k. We took an hour and a half from Kotor to Budva and two and a half to return. We moved from Kotor to Virpazar and chose to come over the mountain on the Serpentine. Fab views, tricky enough hairpin bends. We did get caught at a bend where 2 buses met and failed to pass each other. Took about 20 minutes to sort out with about 30 cars having to reverse a couple of hundred yards. Interesting driving! In general we are loving Montenegro. Safe, welcoming and gorgeous.

    The town was lacking good rsxtaurants and the genera feel of the town was that it caters more for Balkan tourism than international guests. With basically no good restaurants (they all semmed to serve excactly the same thing) makes this for a poor destination, We tried a few of te beach cubs, and found them very noisy and not really attractive.

    Great destination for romantic holiday. Good restaurants, a lot of clean beaches, good size town, everything was accessible by foot, but enough things to see. A lot of stairs and climbing. Maybe not the best place for small children or elderly. During summer time, climbing can be too much also for fit adults, at least at the daytime.

    The coast is beautiful and perfect for swimming, snorkeling and sunsets. We liked the fact you could walk all the way from our apartment to the town. It's very touristy in town and the town itself wasn't particularly special, but we enjoyed the reasonably priced bars and restaurants as well as some jetskiing.

    Sveti Stefan is small enough to explore on foot, there is a pretty coastal walkway that is shaded at times. Whilst busy, the beach didn’t feel too overcrowded in August. The one supermarket is a bit pricey, consider taking some essentials with you
