We had a truly memorable stay at Hotel Conte. The location is perfect—right on the waterfront with stunning views that make every moment special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, giving us the perfect balance of relaxation and charm. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure our family felt at home. They were especially thoughtful with our children, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options, and dining by the sea created such a wonderful atmosphere. Everything about the hotel—from the setting to the service—made our time here relaxing and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Perast. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely stay in a brand new hotel. Room was spotless and a great size with comfy beds. Breakfast was good with different options available plus juice and a coffee machine. The hotel was close to the cable cars and only a 10 minute drive to Kotor old town (not at busy periods as we did sit in traffic some of the time).

    Our experience at Hotel Amfora - Casa del Mare in Orahovac, Kotor was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The location is stunning – the view over the bay is breathtaking and creates the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with options that cater to every taste. Everything we tried exceeded our expectations. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service. The entire staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. A special mention goes to Vladana, who stood out with her kindness, positive energy, and attention to detail. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for – a true gem! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back!

    The interior design of the hotel is very tasteful. The location was perfect - in the central square of the Old Town. The breakfast served in the morning was excellent. The staff at all times were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. When we went back in the evenings we got lovely welcomes and they went out of their way to help us and make our stay as pleasantly memorable as possible - they certainly succeeded.

    The Splendido Hotel has an amazing positioning and has a wonderful view of Kotor. In daylight and night. Also very calm, quiet and peaceful. Center of Kotor is very close to the hotel. You can reach anywhere in Kotor with 5mins drive. You can even walk. Firstly Andrea and other staffs are very kind and helpful. Their restaurant is also good. Recommeded.

    Very nice location and super caring staff. Quick check in/out process. Our special request for early breakfast (due to a boat trip) was met without hesitation.     Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots...

    Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed the cable car and a boat ride but there is lots to see and do. We had a car so we could travel a bit in the area. The coast drive to Tivat is lovely and we enjoyed some time in Tivat. A word of warning. Traffic jams are an issue. Driving through Kotor can be painstakingly slow. As I write, August 2025, there are major roadworks between Tivat and Budva, which is about 25k. We took an hour and a half from Kotor to Budva and two and a half to return. We moved from Kotor to Virpazar and chose to come over the mountain on the Serpentine. Fab views, tricky enough hairpin bends. We did get caught at a bend where 2 buses met and failed to pass each other. Took about 20 minutes to sort out with about 30 cars having to reverse a couple of hundred yards. Interesting driving! In general we are loving Montenegro. Safe, welcoming and gorgeous.

    Cheaper place on the Montenegrin cost and afordable to swim and later eat and have a drink and have good enough accommodation. If you have a car you can go to Perast, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Tivat, or by bus as well.

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay.

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay. We were there in August and there was no public events, parties, or other entertaining options. You have only few local stores, a bakery, few restaurants, and a beach to enjoy. The only road leading through Prcanj is pretty very stressful to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners and yes, count with many stops and much longer ride because of busy traffic. If you need more contents, Kotor is a very nice city to visit nd not so far.

    Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen...

    Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen utensils for cooking. Would be helpful to have some necessities such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, which guests staying only a few nights as we did, are unlikely to purchase. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms means the apartment would be particularly good value when shared between more than one family. Good base for exploring Boka Bay, though there are options closer to Kotor if this is your main reason for visiting. All in all we found the apartment a great base for our short trip. The pool area was lovely with sensational views. We would have liked to know that there was no cafe/ bar on site however, as the photos showed, as this was part of the reason we chose this particular apartment. During the day we ate at Tramontana Beach Bar which was lovely - a bonus was the children’s play area. We had a day out exploring Boka Bay with a private hire boat company - Taxi Boat 65. We found this to be an excellent way to make the most of our short time there and our skipper to be very knowledgeable and informative. On this day we ate at Ribarsko selo - a fish/ seafood restaurant accessed by boat. The setting was beautiful and the food wonderful. You do need to book ahead.

    Beautiful place to visit, but extreme madness in August. Traffic and parking are absolutely impossible. Paid garage closes at midnight, so you have no choice but to leave earlier. We did a small group boat tour to the blue cave...nothing special. Avoid the hassle. Our location was too far, and it took 3 hours back and forth, with a short 15-minute swim at the cave, and a crazy, bumpy, uncomfortable ride back and forth. Not recommended if you have neck or back pain. We are young and fit and found it not relaxing at all.

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture...

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture perfect. Love that they have stopped cars entering the town. Restaurants along waterfront were all excellent, staff polite, helpful and spoke good English. Easy boat taxis to Our Lady of the Rocks. Seems to be a popular destination wedding venue, especially at weekends, but this just adds to the buzz of the town. Love love love Perast!! Two days is perfect.

    Nice small place, great with family with children.

    Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. There are restaurants on the seashore that has nice food. There is also museum "Rimski mozaici" that we didn't visit cause it wasn't working but we heard it is great.

    Dobrota is a quiet place located in the municipality of...

    Dobrota is a quiet place located in the municipality of Kotor. It is a perfect place to stay if you want a quiet vacation and peace. The water is crystal clear, calm, and good for swimming, but there are not many sandy parts. There is no crowd by the sea because there are many locations where you can place your towel and take a swim. There is not enough shade, except in the beach bar or hotel bar. There are a few restaurants/beach bars, two markets, one bakery and that is all you need. The place is long and the waterfront stretches all the way to Kotor, so you can walk along its entire length. Food is pretty good in every restaurant. Daily temperatures are not too high because the place is surrounded by hills.
